I used these to hang lights in my shop on the beams at the 24ft peak. They were very easy to install, and even worked on the angle where the beams make a peak. I used them on 4 inch I-beams and they worked perfectly. They come with very long bolts for wider applications so I replaced the bolts with shorter ones although it would have worked fine with the original ones. I just didn't want the excess bolt hanging out. My lights are very light, but these could be used to hang just about anything. Strong 1/4" steel and well made.

I am easily able to hang a heavy bag from an I-Beam in my basement. It has worked perfectly. It was extremely easy to install. I almost bought another similar product that cost $99.00 but decided to give this a try at such a cheaper price. VERY HAPPY!

I bought two of these for my home gym in my basement. I hung a heavy bag from one and I use the other with resistance bands for various exercises. They clamp really well and hold tight to the beams. I've applied a lot of force to both and they are holding up really well so far. A good quality spring will help reduce noise when using a heavy bag attached to a beam. I also found that adding a small section of rubber hose to the portion of the hanger that holds the bag will greatly reduce noise and wear on the bolt. These should work well with whatever you have in mind when needing to clamp to a metal beam.

Sturdy and easy to use. Have installed (4) to keep the frames of (2) adjustable bed frames together at a slight distance. The platforms are still able to move independently while these brackets keep the bases together eliminating the gap between to grow over time. Would recommend.

Perfect solution for hanging a punching bag from an i beam. I have a large I beam in the garage and this was an easy and elegant solution. It holds a 100 pound bag no problem. Super easy to install!

I purchased this bracket to hold my 100 lb punching bag. So far it is doing very well, I've had this for about three weeks now, and I use my punching bag three times a week. It did not quite fit the beam but if you insert some pieces of cardboard to have the brackets hug the beam from the top and bottom, it works very well! I read some bad reviews about the bracket being flimsy and loose but if you secure them with the additional bulk to keep the brackets in place, it works very well!
