These are the size of the stated dimensions. They were surprisingly well-made for the price point. I had a "coupon" from AMZN and got them for $26. The intricate metal work is quality; the glass is quality. I am extremely pleased with these small lanterns. I plan on using them on my porch when the weather is better. However, I did try them out with the following candles: cheap LED tea light with new battery, cheap Walmart tea light, and beeswax votive candle.The LED light barely made it through the glass. I would call it "decorative" light only, which is fine if that is what you are looking for. I have one of the lanterns on a shelf in my home with that LED light in it and turn it on for the nice decorative glow now. The wax tea light threw out faint glass patterns onto the porch. The votive, not surprisingly, sent out pretty vibrant light. It does reach closer to the open top, so you will get more interference/extra candle burning from the wind, but I will probably use votives in these. I put white sand at the bottom of my lanterns for extra reflection and brightness and will do the same for these, but did not for my experiment.The large swinging door is a great feature.

I like these a lot. Has a metal latch like a farm gate and 2 panels open so you have ample room to get candles or lights in or out. Not much to dislike. The glass has a nice pattern on it too. Very nice.

These are adorable and I love them! They are smaller than I was thinking, but they are probably cooler than if they were bigger. Did use a small candle inside them just to get the feel and the ambience is there amd very relaxing. They came without a single damage on the box. Overall, I am happy with these just thought they would be a bit bigger and that might be on me for not really looking at dimensions amd just looking at reviews lol I have 2 up right now and can't wait to get the other 2 up!! Very happy with this purchase!!! Hoping the led candles I ordered will fit, the inside is very small.

We were looking for ornate lanterns for our Ramadan decorations. These lanterns are darling! They are beautiful to look at and there are functional. We are careful at opening and closing the lantern doors (they’re delicate not flimsy) to light the votive candles twice a day. They were exactly what we were looking for!!

I plan on using these for tablescapes - and yes, they're really small, but not as tiny as one reviewer noted. (I think that review said 2-3"; they're actually about 6" tall.) They're sort of a Moroccan style, and the detail is so much better than I thought it would be. I have some little 2" flameless votives and they work perfectly for this size lantern. The glass sort of camouflages the fact that the candles aren't real, and the "flicker" of the light is very convincing. I was extra surprised at the quality of the latch hardware on the door of each lantern.I do think you could get away with a real votive candle, but I also think you risk the lantern itself getting too hot to handle (because it's all metal except for the glass side panels. You should also know that the glass is NOT amber-colored as some of the photos suggest. If you use a candle with a "warm" white light (rather than a "bright" white) you can probably get something close to an amber color if that's what you're going for, though.I really can't wait to get these onto some tables. I think they're going to look great!

I collect lanterns but I don't have any this size and boy are these cute! They are well made and the coating on the metal is even and covers everything including all the small intricate cutouts. The glass is textured with a pretty pattern and is also colored, the ones I got are a subtle blue. The door opens to the left and is two panels so that there is plenty of room to insert the tea light candle. I like that this set comes with 4 lanterns, there are so many ways you can display or hang these.When the box arrives it sounded like it was full of shattered glass and I was sure that they were all broken but they weren't. The glass is held in by metal tabs which need to be pushed in to tighten the glass so it doesn't rattle when you move these.Overall a great set and a really nice gift.

Read the product description well before buying. I thought these were going to be full-sized lanterns (6” or larger), but they’re only 2-3” high and look TINY. They would be ideal for a table centerpiece, but that’s about it. Still well made and lovely nonetheless.

The quality of the metal used is very poor. I ordered 2 sets of the black lantern, one was missing glass and some had a wide gap between the hinges and the locks are cheaply made
