Whole Detox: A 21-Day Personalized Program to Break Through Barriers in Every Area of Your Life – An Integrative Health Guide for Mind-Body Wellness [Minich, Deanna] on desertcart.com. *FREE* shipping on qualifying offers. Whole Detox: A 21-Day Personalized Program to Break Through Barriers in Every Area of Your Life – An Integrative Health Guide for Mind-Body Wellness Review: A shift towards life - I was attracted by the "colors" put up by Dr. Deanna Minich on Facebook. They are always vibrant, exuberant, 'moving', alive, and holistic. That last factor attracted me more to follow her to see what her status updates are every time. By that time she announces her book "WHOLE DETOX" i knew I would like to get to know more about what this whole thing is about. I pre-ordered the book and when it arrived, my mental mode has already begun its journey. As it happens, she has a 21-day whole detox program coinciding with the book arrival. It could not have been a better match in terms of timing and personal journey. I love the real example of who she is and how she conducts her own life, based on her status, her words, her voice, her interactions with numerous healthcare practitioners of different discipline, her whole persona, and her dynamic energy embracing the "whole spectrum' of well-being, that goes beyond just restrictive and painful dieting to reduce the waistline, to look slim and 'pretty'. To me, this is not a book to read from page one to page 386. It is a living, breathing experience that compassionately nudges, reminds, guides, encourages, embraces me to really take stock of who I am in totality, and how I want to live the best version of this breathing, pulsating, living mind, body and spirit that make up who I am. The name itself, without knowing or having the connection with Dr. Deanna Minich, will not really attract me, as I have failed at every single detox I wanted to get on. It's just not a fun journey. But this experience of whole-some detox is nourishing, inviting, compassionate, kind, easy, comfortable, honest, and down to earth. I feel that it is a shift in a fundamental level towards the authenticity of health and inner joy. To me, t's a holistic journey in practical steps. I hope more people will see the spectrum of wealth and health through the wisdom in this book and by this author, and begin their own painter of colors in their lives. Review: Why You Must Have Whole Detox In Your Library - Dr Minich has done a stellar job in writing Whole Detox which I am personally thrilled to own - both on Kindle edition and hardback. These are the points that will sell any inquisitive person that this is a must-have book in their library: 1) As a fellow nutritionist, the fact that Dr Minich has 400 references in the bibliography tells me she is a serious student, researcher, and scientist on the subject of detoxification for the spirit, soul, and body. 2) Yes, detoxification must happen on multiple-dimensional levels if we are to truly come clean and Dr Minich is brilliant in delving into the deep things, yet it is done in a very personal, encouraging way. 3) The recipes are simple, yet profound in the use of botanicals and macronutrients that have a very, very powerful effect in sweeping toxins out of our body. Having personally gone through the program the recipes are spot on in their efficacy. 4) Dr Minich elucidates the seven systems of energy, moving through them with great clarity and incite. 5) The all-encompassing program leaves no stone unturned as it covers affirmations, meditations, yoga, other forms of movement, guided visualizations, the beautiful, healing use of color, the foods which includes the use of spices, botanicals, our body's need for protein especially during a time of detoxification, etc 6) Dr Minich gives many suggestions of adjunct ways we should be detoxifying such as the use of a far infrared sauna, forest bathing, even crying. 7) And lastly, she gives you steps what to do after the 21-day program is done so you know how to reintroduce those foods you abstained from during the cleanse.

A Colourful Rainbow Path to Health and Healing
There's so many things to like about Whole Detox but the ONE thing that really sets it apart is how it will show you how everything is connected. From reading this book you'll get clear on the power of synergy. How it will work in your favour when everything dances to same time tune and why you might not be feeling your best when it does not. Through the 7 Systems of health Deanna will guide you with her knowledge and wisdom, teaching you about how what we think can affect our food & lifestyle choices. And likewise how the food you eat can make you feel a lot better. As a nutritionist I've always been interested in how ALL of our body systems work in synergy and how food and nutrition affects the WHOLE body. However through Deanna's work I've found how we are much more than that. Whole Detox does not just address the body but also the mind & spirit, (and all the nuances in between). Body, mind & Spirit is something different camps often like to keep as separate entities. And it often feels like you have to choose between science or spirituality. But here you don't! In fact this book will show you that it's not just possible to integrate the two, it is in fact vital for your health & healing. Whole Detox is a cutting edge, forward thinking approach yet carries deep ancient wisdom. If you're ready to get to the root of your health challenges and get closer to the truth of how you are. then I highly recommend this book. Take the Colourful Rainbow Path, there's a pot of gold waiting for you at the end - Your most vibrant self!

Her book provides all the necessary tools to assess each one of our seven health systems and apply the true essence of detoxing in all aspects of our lives which help us achieve balance for overall health. Very scientific but very easy to read, this book is the best guide to Wellness especially during Dr. Minich 21 day Whole Detox Programs focused on Body, Mind and Soul.

We are in day 9 and really enjoying all the recipes. They are delicious. It also helps that you cook in the dinner twice the amount so you have leftovers for lunch time. Then in the lunch time you do a different salad every day with that leftover. It is also nice to have so many extra resources from her website... Some are free to download and very useful.

I heard Deanna Minnich interviewed and liked her practical down to earth approach. She is very knowledgeable and prefers to treat her clients in a holistic manner. We are all unique individuals and no one size fits all. Really enjoyed this book and will refer to it time and time again.
