Great dimmer switch.
This works exactly as intended. Easy install, which took under 3 minutes to put in. I use this in my living room where I have 3 sconces: 1x 100watt LED and 2x 75watt LEDs. I don't hear any humming from the switch and the dimable LEDs don't have any flicker. A bonus, I didn't notice when I read the description, the switch is illuminated when it's off, helps when it's completely dark to find the switch.

Some helpful hints about which dimmer to choose
If you are planning an update/upgrade of the outlets and electrical switches in your home there is a value in doing the project all at one time, that is if you hope that all of the outlets and switches match each other. The reason is that it seems the two major manufacturers of such products don't stick with the same design for very long, especially when it comes to dimmer switches.A few years ago when doing a kitchen and dining remodel all of the switches were replaced with ones in which the lights were turned on and off with a small push button and the lighting intensity was adjusted with a slender slide button. Easy to use, easy to tell at a glance what level the dimmer is at and architecturally attractive. A while later when an adjacent room was remodeled those switches were no longer available so we went with another design. And then recently we wanted to replace an on/off switch for the outdoor patio light with a dimmer. You guessed it, now the designs have changed again so we have 3 different types of dimmers within view of each other. This one has its pros and cons, not in how good it works because it works fine, but in the advantages of having the on/off being a big paddle and the dimmer slider being a tiny button alongside. And the lesson learned is that maybe the fact that they don't all match each other isn't such a bad idea. Hopefully this review will help you choose the right switch for your intended use.Example: the kitchen and dining lights are dimmed numerous times a day, making the prominent slider button an advantage. They are usually only turned on and off once per day, however, making the smaller power button an advantage. The situation for the patio light is quite the opposite. Typically it is turned on every time someone walks outdoors and then turned off again when they re-enter the house. The light is almost always at the full-bright position. The only time the light is dimmed is when there is an outdoor party ... the lights are full bright while food is being served then dimmed low when people are sitting around the fire pit talking. Therefore a large on/off paddle with a small dimmer slider is the right choice for this location.Lutron makes a well-built product and we have never had one fail so the answer to the question of build quality has been answered. It is built to last.Kudos to Lutron for making this dimmer available in 5 décor colors and for including a matching wall plate. If you are starting a remodel project the decision comes down to do you want all of your switches to match or do you want to choose them by functionality? Hope this helps.

Great functioning light with back-light. Not wild about faceplate
Nice, easy to install, light switch. I bought this one to replace a slider switch (with a tiny on/off switch at the base) that was flickering a bit. This has worked perfectly since I installed it. I do prefer the on/off switch being larger as I tend to select a light intensity and stick to it. But having said that, the slider is simple enough to access - perhaps it could be just a bit wider. I also noticed that there's a very dim illumination behind the switch itself so that you can find it in the dark - a nice little extra feature. The only thing I wasn't wild about was the fact that the faceplate is not screwed on. I suppose this gives it a cleaner look but I feel like I'm going to snap / break something when I go to pry it off. And once that happens it's essentially useless. I'll need to get another plate

Perfect Dimmer and easy to Install
This dimmer comes complete with face plate and wires ready for installation. This dimmer works perfectly and is very well designed. The installation is easy and the face plate comes off easily so you can mount it in a two or three switch arrangement. I was also replacing a two switch configuration and the other light just need a normal switch. The dimmer matches the other switch but has the advantage of dimming the lights. It works perfectly with dim-able led lights which can get extremely bright with a bank of eight lights. I like it not so bright but my wife likes it with full brightness; Now each of us has the perfect amount of lighting. A nice touch is the built in night light making it very easy to find the switch in total darkness. This is a perfect dimmer that is not cheap but worth it.

Excellent light switch
I shopped around quite a bit before selecting numerous light switches for a renovation project. I also tried out several models. The Lutron Diva's rose to the top, even over Lutron's own Maestro. The Maestro offered a push-button style switch which initially seemed to me to be sleeker and more modern, but there's something awkward about pushing a button instead of flipping a switch. The Maestro also shorted out after an electrician changed the attached light, so may be more sensitive to damage given it's internal electronics. The Diva, besides being cheaper, is just easier and faster to adjust. A simple slider, barely visible if you're not looking for it, sets the dim level. What's nice about this is you can choose a favorite level, then just turn the lights on and off as needed. The faint LED behind the switch is dim enough not to be distracting, but bright enough so you can find the switch in darkness. The switch has a comfortable feel to it.The screwless faceplate is really a two-piece design, like many of Lutron's products. A back plate screws to the switch box, while a sleek face plate snaps into place over it. It can seem a little trick to get on and off the first few times, but it's easy enough to get used to and looks great.I highly recommend this for any dimming application. Potential buyers should note that this is the standard white glossy model, which is my favorite. However, there is also a matte "satin" finish available in a number of colors.

Realized afterwards you can't use regular switch plates
This is functional and does what it says, but the problem is that the plastic switch plate looks cheap, and you can't really replace it with a nicer one because it protrudes from the wall. So the best bet is to buy their product without the switch plate, unless the look of not seeing the screws is so important to you that you don't mind having no option to replace the plastic switch plate.
