Deadly to moths, but absolutely safe to use

I have always been of the belief of the saying that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t. But that seems entirely true with this product. I was really searching for a toxic fogger as our pantry had become a haven for moths. I did not realize that there is a variety of mosques that specifically seek out grains in your pantry. This product claims that it has a pheromone that attracts male, moths, preventing reproduction, and thus ending the infestation cycle. After the male moth is attracted, it is stuck to the adhesive contained in the triangle. As I placed the first two of these units in our pantry, a moth came by me, and dove for the unit. Within two weeks I had collected 16 months and we have not seen a single moth seen since then. I highly recommend this product as it is completely safe and seemingly 100% effective.

Excellent product that works !

This product WORKS. I have had an infestation of pantry - or indian meal - moths, since last October !! I'mnot kidding. They came from storing bird seed items in my cupboard. There must have been larvae on oneor more of the products that I bought. I've had exterminator here with their traps, Allure, which are expensive to buy. These work just as well. I had to take the stuff out of the cupboard and none of theother cabinets got the moths. My food was fine. I am STILL killing moths every day. Place the traps highup in different areas and rooms of your home. My traps caught some right away. Still catching them after i put them up about 3 weeks ago. Bird Lovers: never EVER keep birdseed or other bird or suet items in your home. Wrap them tightly and keep them on a high shelf in the garage. The moths don't eat wool and they don't sting but they are a nuisance and it takes a long long time to get rid of them. When i see one on the wall, i spray it with water, or windex or whatever is handy. They don't like that. Annoying !!!

Somewhat effective

Update: one trap did catch 7 moths over a 3 or 4 week period. That is pretty good considering it says they only attract the females. This is my first time trying these and to be honest I found where the moths were coming from before I put these out. They were in a bag of pecans. A zip lock bag mind you. I have only see a couple since I threw that and almost everything else in the pantry out. I’m thinking if you just get rid of the main infestation that should take care of the problem.

I can honestly say these traps work!

I have tried several other brands of Pantry moth traps that cost around $10 for six and during my battle with these pantry moths I didn’t trap a single one, So I found these on a do it yourself pest control website and Amazon offered them, coming in at about twice the costs, but they are worth it. I got a pantry moth invasion from a bag of peanuts I used to bait squirrels, so once we knew we were infested we did a top to bottom cleaning and inspected practically every thing in my home, these moths can lay 400 eggs, that turn into larve then into the flying adult moths. We found hundreds of them in my garage, they love paper and granular food to include dog food, and can work themselves into and out of thin plastics. I placed 4 of these traps in my home, 2 in garage, I in pantry, one in master bath. Within a week the garage had trapped about 20 each, inside pantry 0, bath 0. So I knew these must be the stranglers, so I reset two knew traps in the garage, about a week later, the picture I shared had about 6-7, pantry 0, bath 0. Then a few days later I noticed a moth in my master bath, but it was out of reach to kill, and a couple hours later I went back to the bathroom and it was stuck in the trap, so the pheromone attracts them. So your best bet is to make sure you are changing out with fresh traps, I did it more frequently so I could measure the level of infestation. I am on my third set, and maybe have two on the glue, I will keep setting them now every 90 days for a couple years. Dealing with these moths takes time, and you are getting them under control not necessarily eradicating them, the traps are a key component in your prevention plan, you can only put so much pesticides down until you place your own health, pets or children in danger. You want regret buying these traps, I just hope they don’t go out of stock, so I at least bought enough to get me through my 2 year plan. Remember everyone you trap, is one less egg layer..

Super easy and works great!

Have tried several other options before finding these. Work very well on pantry moths. Super easy to use with no complex two-part trap to set up. Unfortunately, once I realized we had pantry moths it was hard to pinpoint the root cause, but these traps helped target the issue as I easily placed them all over the pantry and was able to see where the concentration of pests are being caught. They last a long time as well, at least several weeks.

BEST THING EVER!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My house got infested with these pantry moths from a bad batch of bird seed - THEY WERE EVERYWHERE!!! These traps have a sticky surface & give off female moth phermones that attract the moths (see photo above). This photo is less than 24 hours after I put it out near the bird cage! Same results in the kitchen. It doesn't attract the females, you still have to kill them off on your own, but by trapping the males, they can't mate & make more! It has been a HUGE improvement in less than a week, they're almost all gone now!

Really works!

Great product. I had a problem with pantry moths, and I was surprised at the number of them caught on these traps. Apparently, the female pheromone infused adhesive coating lures the male moths, and by the number of them caught, this is very effective. The traps are fold-out, fold over cardboard with a small handle on top. They are coated with an adhesive, and are easy to set up. The moths fly in and are stuck to the glue. Thank you.
