Good chocolate, kids loved
For some reason, we couldn't find gelt in the local stores like usual this year, so I decided to order online. This one had plenty of reviews saying the chocolate was good, but a whole bunch that said they had pirate ships on them instead of the expected menorah or something similar.Honestly, my kids and I thought that was so hilarious we ended up deciding to take a chance. My kids (keep in mind these are teenagers, not little ones) said they would be disappointed if we didn't get any with pirate ships. Well, sure enough, there are pirate ships! I mean, there's some Hebrew on the other side, of course, so it's fine.Anyway, we all had a good laugh about the Hanukkah pirates. And yes, the chocolate is very good. Overall, we are happy and would buy this product again.

Gelt is gelt
These were nice to have at each person's table settings for our Hanukkah dinners. Bummer that I needed to put out more sets to play the dreidel game as each sachet only had 3 pieces in it, but they were still fun.

Decent quality, affordable chocolate coins modeled on US currency.
I think, based on reviews that there is little consistency here with this product. People get a variety of designs and apparently manufacturers with this item, so caveat emptor. For what it is worth, mine were incorrectly labeled as Hanukkah gelt, but the design was simply U.S. coins. The chocolate was decent, the kids found them very tasty and when I bought them they were priced to be a very good value for the price (9.99 at my time of purchase).I bought two boxes of these (48 bags) to use as "booty" for a pirate-themed birthday party. We filled up a plastic treasure chest with these bags of chocolates and set the rest aside to use to fill the pinata at my daughter's 6th birthday party. Then we hid a series of clues around the park leading the kids to the location of the hidden treasure chest. Once they found the treasure chest, we distributed the booty equally amongst our scurvy crew and absolutely all the kids loved them. I was glad I had two boxes because the crew grew in size as many of the bystander kids that were just playing at the park that day joined in on the excitement of the hunt too. They were marked as US currency, and were not marked with Hanukkah related symbology, but in our case that was irrelevant. I'd have been very disappointed though if they had been intended for Hanukkah. They were quite tasty and perfect for our needs though. Each bag had one larger coin and three small coins and all were made of decent quality chocolate. All were molded with US currency as their model but for us that was perfect as we had a group of kindergarten students who are all learning about currency and US money at the moment.

Great gelt!
This was delicious chocolate gelt regardless of the ships. Some had menorahs on them and all had Hebrew writing to show they were made in Israel. Yummy for Hanukkah!

Delicious
I got these for my classroom for St. Patrick’s Day 🤦🏼♀️ Didn’t catch that they had menorahs on them. BUT no one noticed and the chocolate was delicious and not old or white like some of the reviews on here had experienced.

Less coins in multiple bags
So disappointed in this purchase. Some bags had 3 coins in various sizes. Others had 5. It’s like they combined an older box with more product with the new one with 3 coins. Few had the same amount. Try explaining that to a room of kids. Had to open bags and give out which wasn’t the plan. Caused tears. Go back to 5 in a bag. 3 is cheap looking. My few 5 in a bag had spots like old chocolates get or previously refrigerated chocolates get. It was not a pass. It failed.
