The only weak point in this project was that I cheaped out on thread, using some of grandma's stash instead of buying new.

I purchase 5 throws in January 2017 and now almost 8 years later my throws still look amazing! We use them all the time….. so do our cats. They are easy to wash and dry and are just as soft and thick as on day one with no pilling.

These throws are so soft and comfortable. They’re just to put on your lap to keep you warm. I’ve washed them on permanent press and only put in the dryer for a few moments. Then line dry to not mess up the material.

I BOUGHT THESE 4 OTHER TIMES. 1 WHITE ( NO SHEDDING ). 2 RED ( NO SHEDDING). THIS LAST RED ONE SHEDS LIKE CRAZY. I WAKE UP COVERED IN RED FUZZIES ALL OVER MY STUFF. IT’S SUPER SOFT WHICH IS NICE BUT, THE SHEDDING IS CRAZY. I WASHED IT 2X AND STILL SHEDS ALL OVER. THIS HAS TO BE A NEW MATERIAL. BECAUSE THE OTHER BLANKETS ARE GORGEOUS AND WASH REALLY WELL. IN THIS PHOTO THE ONE ON THE BED IS A LARGER SIZE AND DOES NOT SHEDD. BUT, THE ONE ON TOP OF THE BED SHEDS LIKE CRAZY. THEY NEED TO STICK TO THE OLD MATERIAL. IT WASHED BEAUTIFULLY AND WAS SUPER SOFT AND NO FUZZIES.UPDATE: I CHANGED MY RATING FROM 3 STARS TO 5.THEY SAW MY REVIEW AND OFFERED ME A NEW BLANKET. I TOLD THEM ALL ABOUT THE OTHER BLANKETS THAT I LOVED AND THE LAST ONE SHED ALL OVER THE PLACE. THEY SENT ME A NEW BLANKET FREE OF CHARGE….AND I WAITED A FEW DAYS BEFORE CHANGING THIS REVIEW.NO SHEDDING. The media could not be loaded. We actually bought two of these blankets to cover the ottomans on our sofa so the dog and cat can lay on them.I've washed them several times there's no peeling or fuzzing or destruction of any of the seams. They're very soft and very nice. High quality blanket for such a low price. I would definitely buy more in different colors for the holiday seasons they're warm and soft. They are a medium to large size blanket definitely good enough coverage for one person. But since we bought them for the pets they love them!
