You've come a long way...
It's been about 35 years since I had my last freeze dried meal. Back in the day you had your choice of Richmoor or if you spent a buck or so more you could get the "premium" Mountain House and better flavor. Even back then MH was the preferred product. Choices were still limited to Chili Mac, Spaghetti, or Beef Stroganhoff. This Chicken Fajita Bowl is AWESOME! I have another trip coming up next month and will definitely purchase again along with trying out Pad Thai and a couple other new flavors.

Defective- made us sick; such a shame. 3rd faulty order of meals
Defective packs - 3rd faulty order in 2 months. All of us have had abnormally bad physical reactions after eating the Chicken Fajita. All of us experienced Inflamed, painful Sores in our mouths. Such a shame. Mountain House has always been such a remarkable source for camping food. We've been happy, loyal customers for many years. Unfortunately the past 3 orders of different meals have not been the same quality of food.

Destroyed my stomach miles from a bathroom
I think I had a defective pack. When I was eating it it had a metallic taste to it. I tried telling myself it was in my head or it was my camp spoon. Approximately 45min after eating my stomach started making crazy noises so I ventured into the deep woods with my shovel. This was followed by 20min of misery. I took an hr nap and woke up to round 2. It was terrible. My other meals were fine and enjoyable but I would eat at your own risk. If it tastes off toss it!

Instant new favorite!
Okay so I eat quite a lot of mountain house meals and this just became a new favorite for sure! It is not only very tasty, the right texture and consistency but it is very filling as well!!! Not even sure of the nutritional value because I tend to not even look at those but this particular meal is very filling and it tastes so good that you will want to continue eating full or not lol

Delicious
This was my first experience having dehydrated food and this one did not disappoint. It's really tasty and convenient. I've had this twice and will definitely have it again. Excited to try their other meals.

A bit salty, but tastes great. The product will not resemble a fajita, but the product will taste like a fajita.

This stuff was seriously delicious. It smells amazing and tastes amazing. I think it had the perfect amount of spice as well. We will definitely be ordering more. Also enough for 2 people.
