Great Replacement for Older Braun Espresso Maker
This carafe is almost identical to the original carafe that broke after 20 years, except the handle is hollow, not solid and has a cap at the end of the handle that has come out accidentally, but I just fit it back in and it doesn't affect performance. A simple replacement has kept my old espresso maker functioning a bit longer. The original lid fits pretty well into the top, but it is slightly loose and this did not have an option for a lid, so I am not sure one is really necessary.

Perfect replacement
I broke the one that came with my machine and this has been a great replacement for it! Nothing bad to say it is what it says it is and is just as sturdy as what comes with your espresso machine.
