How many total payable characters are in this version ?

Though there are a total of 145 characters in the game, a few of them--Liu Bei and Lu Xun come to mind--share basic move sets, with their special attacks being different. One of the 145 characters, though, requires a bit more work to unlock than just simply playing through the story mode. (I'll not spoil who that is, but it takes work.) Aside from the clones, each character feels distinct in his/her own way, so there is at least one or several that may suit one's preferences.

Will Ryu Hyabusa and the other Ninja Gaiden guest characters still be in the game?

The Ultimate Edition is an updated version of the original Warriors Orochi 3. All content from the original game should be there along with some new characters and improved graphics. Check out the Warriors Orochi 3 wikipedia page for more info.

Does it have both the original Warriors orochi 3 and ultimate content?

Yes it includes both the Warriors Orochi 3 vanilla game the Warriors Orochi Hyper and Ultimate content. There is also the dlc that japan received for free in the form of certain costumes and levels. But full cast outfits will be dlc for purchase at a later date.

Does the PS4 version of this game have improved graphics and draw distance? (not meaning resolution) How about enemy pop up? Thanks in advance!

both are much improved, but still noticeable, specially enemy pop up, but because the game makes sure you always have someone to slay, so it spawns enemies out of thin air to do so.
