Perfect for gnats!! I did the home remedy (apple cider/ soap/sugar) and it somewhat worked but all the gnats were hanging outside the container. So I bought these and added them on top of the container and within in sec gnats started to stick! I was tired of these things flying in my face and being everywhere! I also hung one by itself (without the apple cider vinegar) and it works as described! This product made a huge difference!

We live on a farm and at time have to keep baby chicks or a random calf in the garage for a time, and with any animal comes flies. These strips are easy to hang and don't get in the way. My kitchen was invaded by fruit flies and nothing I could do would get rid of them. The ultraviolet fly catcher was pretty much ignored by them. So I bought these fly paper strips to see if they would help.I was a little skeptical at first. I hung one from a ceiling fan just to see how well they worked. The first day I only had a few flies on the Fly strip and a lot still flying around the kitchen. I'm glad I didn't review them then. The second day, there were quite a few more flies on it and after a week the Flies were completely gone and the strip was inundated with them. See the picture.

So it is very easy to get out and put it up and it is very sticky because I got stuck to it and so did a poor bird that flew next to my door but it does not attract flies or gnats. It’s catching them because the wind gets them stuck to it. I put some outdoors and indoors and the indoor ones did nothing even though I put them where the problem was so they just avoided band. But if they’re outdoors and the wind pushes them to the sticky strip then it works. I didn’t get a smell when I had it inside and it is a pale to bright yellow color. So overall very sticky, good in windy conditions to catch flies if you have lots of flies but not good if you have no wind since it didn’t seem to do anything to attract them to it.

We have a problem with flies on our back deck and when my husband's grilling out there, they drive him crazy this time of year. I didn't want to always be trying to spray them, so I thought I'd try good, old-fashioned fly paper. These strips are amazing! They're so sticky that even if a fly alights briefly, it's stuck. We thought a small pack would last a while, but we're “buzzing” through them quickly. I already ordered a larger package. Very good product!

They are doing the job well. I have used 3 already for a total of 35 flies. I knew they were bad, but amazed by the number. No wonder I was going crazy! We have cows living next door. I'm thinking hamburger, roast and steaks!

They work great but the bottom plastic piece comes off when you try to pull it down so you have to touch the sticky part to get it to unravel.
