And not only was it a 100% easy swap, everything lined up with no adjustments (including the seat safety switch). Plus it is 12lbs lighter than my old, cracked, waterlogged seat!!!

My husband said it is as good as or better than the original John Deere seat. He said it’s definitely more comfortable than the original. Installation was easy and took less than an hour. He said an extra set of hands would have made it even easier. The pictures are of the seat on our 15-20 year old John Deere L110. The last picture is of the damaged original John Deere seat on our mower. There is a little difference in the color yellow, but not a big deal. Saved us money and works great! No complaints here!

The threaded inserts for bolting the seat to the seat frame are the weak point of this seat. I had a couple come out of place and I had to take the seat apart to fix it. Be very careful when threading in the seat bolts. Aside from that, it is comfortable and looks great.

This new seat was a perfect fit for my John Deere L110 mower tractor. The main difference between this seat and the original is that the cushion holder is plastic instead of metal. The bolt holes were a match; there were also mounting holes for the cable guide (?) attached on one side of the seat. The seat has the appropriate cutout for the seat deadman switch. I have this switch removed so I cannot say if it works with this new seat. So, for anyone saying it did not fit the L110, it must not have been the same seat. With OEM being around $180, this was a great deal for a new seat.

Finally had to replace the seat when the mounts rusted out. This is a good replacement at sub OEM pricing. Adjuster & pressure switch fit right in. Existing bolts worked.

Put it on my Scott’s 1742 and it fit fine. Not many other options.

Mine: Model L110A, DATECODE: 051903- Others said the bolts from their old seat wouldn't work, so I bought 4 of the size they suggested. Turned-out to be identical with what was holding my old seat, so I returned them to the hardware store.- Old seat had ability to slide forward/backward (like a car seat) with a piece that held the desired position (2nd picture). New one will not accommodate that - old seat had metal base with nuts welded in it to attach the slide adjustment piece, but the new seat is hard plastic. This is not a problem for my family, since we have roughly the same length legs, and because one can just loosen the bolts and adjust it forward/backward if needed.
