They are well made and function well as takedown pins when cut to size

I imagine a lot of people are buying this as a tool to help install their pivot pin, spring, and detent. If so, you will not be able to use it without a small modification. The diameter of the pin itself is perfect for the job and fits fine in the lower, however the small holes drilled in the pin are too small for the detent to fit through. You will need to open up the hole with a 3/32" drill bit. The pilot holes are already there, so it's easy to drill through with little pressure.

These are exactly what I needed. They are sturdy and strong. Perfect!

This product is generally ok but the locking pin that comes with the set is very very tiny that if considerable pressure is applied, the pin can bend that would surely compromise the safety of its use.

I used this in lieu of a roll punch to install a front takedown pin and detent. The detent and spring went neatly through the hole in the Clevis pin, and I then rotated it to prevent the spring from shooting the detent out. I slowly replaced the Clevis pin with the front takedown pin, and voila!Many of you will know that the front takedown detent is the hide and seek world champion once you lose it. This took an otherwise maddening task and shortened it to just a minute or two. It's a little expensive for what you get (why I marked a star off) as these can be found cheaper, but I work from home and can't always get out -- so getting it delivered to me was a plus.
