Beautifully crafted. And very pleasant sound.
This was relatively easy to set up and start playing, thanks to the included bridge guide. Came with all the required tools and extra strings. Had issues with shipping but the company reached out to me promptly and stayed in touch through out. 10/10 customer service which is extremely rare for foreign goods I have purchased in the past. The price was extremely reasonable and perfect for a beginner. I've looked over the instrument and the finish was well above what I expected for the price. There were a few minor issues outside of shipping ( shipping is an issue everywhere right now. But like I said before they were extremely helpful with getting everything fixed.) It took way longer than anticipated to receive the package, not of their own fault, customs clearing took about a month. Now for the issues.I was missing the tutorial book. (Got in contact and they're sending me one immediately)The stands are a little narrow for the right side. ( not sure if I'm setting up improperly or not)Positives.Included gig bag is great, I don't plan on taking it places but it's nice to have for storage or moving.Bridges were all numbered making it easy to assemble first time.Comes with extra strings because of course you will inevitably break a few.The plektrums are sturdy.Stands fold nicely.I'm very pleased with this purchase as my wife has wanted one for a while and I love learning new instruments. It sounds great and looks perfect on the wall.

Beautiful Guzheng
What beautiful sound and really like the quality which is better than expected for under $300. Got my tuner today so I could start practicing and immediately was coming up with little melodies so this instrument is really going to add to my creativity once I get the eye hand finger coordination down. Original Art mainly strings and spent 10 years in Asia playing the Phin Khim and Danmo with friends.Bridges were easy to set up and tuning is easy too. But one note when tuning the high strings to prevent breakage at the bridges. Lift the string with your fingers as you tighten the strings so it's not pressing on the bridge. Then like with all the strings after tuning flex the strings fore and aft to take out any stress then check the tuning again.I also ordered a Cambodian Rosewood Hulusi from the Music Sanctuary that the Guzheng came from so should have it tomorrow. And if the quality is as nice as expected I'll be ordering a few other instruments as well. Money well spent so enjoy.

Basic Beginner Instrument
First sight of this shipping box and I thought I had a load of splinters. The interior components had been wrapped up pretty darn good, only problem was one broken saddle from being in a bag with all the others (wood glue and rubber bands to the rescue). This is a basic instrument, yes certain saddles aren't lapped to the surface, there is a buzz on a few strings, and the strings will stretch out of tune for a while (weeks), but consider the cost. I kinda got a laugh at the "instructual manual" since it was in chinese. Pictures in book good enough to set up, but had to find an english version and YT to get started.A first time player this is fine, it's to learn on, even tuning often, teaches you the basics.

Great quality and customer service - but no assembly instructions!
The instrument took more than 2 months to arrive - the first one was lost in the mail, but the seller was fantastic - as soon as we contacted them, they shipped a new one out and it arrived within 1 week. The guzheng is so gorgeous as well! It's sturdy and seems well-made. I'm a beginner, so it took a while to figure out how to set it up. There are no instructions, but that's not too big of a problem if you just google how to set it up. Just don't throw out the piece of paper that looks like a staircase laddar - that's very helpful in guiding where to place the bridges!Another tip is when setting up the bridges, make sure the long side of the ridge at the very top of each bridge is facing the left side. Otherwise the strings would vibrate too much when plucked.

Arrived broken
Beautiful instrument but it arrived broken due to shipping and handling. Disappointing.

Great Gu zheng
Ok Review time.First thing first, its a great product, and with the shipping to be honest its worth it. But there are a few things i would like to point out.1) all the instruction (including the learner's guide) to set the bridges and tuning are in Chinese. placement of the first bridge is also in Chinese.2) The stand is actually loose and not properly fixed. Thought it might be an shipping problem thou.3)The box is hugeWhat it come with: Booklet, tuner, guzheng picks and tape, travel bag, stand ... and a lot of steryofoam that got broken into piece during shipping. (suggestion is to vacuum after)All in all it's a nice travel instrument

Stunning
I love the color and the etching. It was so easy to set up and tune. The sound is amazing. The book is in chinese so if you can't read chinese, your best bet is youtube. But its pretty easy to catch onto.
