Perfect size generator to run everything we need in a power outage. Simple to setup and comes complete with everything needed to run right out of the box. The dual fuel is a game changer, no longer have to store gasoline that eventually needs to be replaced. Propane can be stored long term with no issues.

This is a very solid and well made generator. Noise level isn't crazy for an open frame. The remote start is extremely convenient. Fuel lasts quite a while under peak running conditions so it's very fuel efficient. When we were first looking at generators we were between this one and the dual fuel, and honestly this one is just far more convenient than the dual fuel. Considering we don't really have any reason to keep propane. We really love it and can't wait to put it to use during hurricane season.

This will be used for supplemental power for our off grid cabin that utilizes solar power. We will occasionally need more power than our small solar system is capable of. Great value, easy starting when first used. Clean design, easy to move around on wheels. Looking forward to seeing how it works throughout the summer!

I purchased this generator after a 6 day winter power outage so I wouldn't have to experience that again. I didn't need to use it for almost a year and a half after purchase. I started it every couple of months to make sure it was working fine, but about two weeks before I had to actually use it, it wouldn't start. I charged it and it did start, but it didn't hold the charge so when it was finally time to use it, my neighbor had to plug in the charger from his generator to get it going. I ran it for 19 hours over a couple of days. I was sure it was well charged but when I checked it again a couple of weeks later, it wouldn't start. I charged it and repeated the check and it wouldn't start or charge. The biggest issue with this is that the generator won't start at all without the battery charged. The electric and pull start don't work because the battery makes the fuel move through the generator. Didn't know that when I bought it. And, when I contacted Westinghouse because of the 3 year warranty, I found out that the battery is only expected to last a year, so I got more life out of it, even only using it once. A replacement directly from them is available but I was also told I could get one from an auto parts store. It's a lithium ion battery, so the auto store did not have it and I had to go to a battery specialty store becauseit isn't a common generator battery. I did get a replacement one there for double the price of theirs, and with a 3 year warranty. The manager told me to unplug the easy connect to the battery when not in use, which will help with it not being drained. Also, because it gets cold, I've decided to keep the battery inside to help as well. I'll check the charge monthly so I know it is ready when I need it. I have to say that I would have liked to know that having the electric start, although a nice feature, would mean I couldn't start it manually with any battery issues, I may have chosen differently. Just so you're aware. It works well to connect to my whole house outlet and run everything I want. It runs better with the new battery too. Even better than the original battery. Now you know. And, I don't thinks its as loud as my neighbor's.

Great generator, easy to unpack and assemble. The perfect size for my house with multiple options for powering the essentials during a power failure. I love how easy it is to move it from the shed when needed. A definite upgrade from my last generator! 2 thumbs up.

Generator arrived with no damage; included is the built in handle, wheels and feet. Easy set-up. Oil and funnel included to get you going quickly.

Delivered quicker than expected. Easy assembly (2 wheels and 2 rubber feet), easy to follow instructions. Put oil (included) and gas (not included) in and started up on second pull. Hooked up RV and everything runs as it should. Easy to use, so far so good. I have electrician coming to install the transfer switch for home backup, will update afterwards.

Getting ready for hurricane season, we'll give it a try! Looks really good quality and easy to store, we'll test it soon!
