Works fine with my 70 lbs e-bike!

I was nervous that this wouldn't work with my e-bike, but it works great! It held it up as I worked, without issue.

Solid So Far

I just received it a couple of days ago and got a chance to set it up and see how it works. I own a Super73 Z1 and it's pretty hefty as ebikes go, so I was shopping around for a repair stand that would hold this up for my maintenance needs. When I first assembled it and tried to get my bike onto it, it kept folding down on me and of course I was concerned it just couldn't handle the weight of the bike. But it's stating 110lb max, so clearly I had to be doing something wrong. And of course I was. There was an area I neglected to tighten, but once I did...all good. I got my bike into the clamp with a solid grip. I shook the bike in the stand and everything, no tipping or worry that it was going to fall. Seems to be a solid stand so far. The little stability bar that you can strap to your handlebars/grips to keep the front wheel stable is ok. Nothing fancy and I might not even use it really. It's kinda flimsy, but it'll do the trick if you need it. But the rest of the stand is solid and should work for any of your ebike repair/maintenance needs, unless of course it weights more than 110lbs. Overall seems to be a good investment for a budget stand. I'm new to bike maintenance and I feel like this will work for me for the time being. I would recommend this stand.

Works

If you have a heavy bike and are doing work yourself. I suggest large bucket to set bike on then attache to this . It will flop all over the place if you dont think out your project. Once Installed move bucket and your on your way my bike weighs 65 lbs. I'm strong but the clamp to fasten takes some maneuvering. Once fastened does the trick just member my bike weighs like 55 lbs more then this stand. Take it from there.

Works great

You can tweak this thing a million different ways. I use it for an e mountain bike that is over 50lbs and this thing works just fine!

Good Sturdy Bike Stand

I have used this and worked on 6 different bikes. The stand is quite stable, you place the bike on the floor legs side. I didn't have a heavy e-bike on it, but seemed ok with mountain bikes. There is a bottom groove on the bike clamp allowing cables to go through unpinched. The auxiliary stabilizer that is included is pretty useless, falls off and not really needed. I was able to hand pedal the bike to adjust derailier and check brakes. I found the little tool shelf very handy. So far, Im quite pleased with it.

Not even close to 110 lbs

The description indicates this can hold unto 110 lbs. Not even close. Even with the battery removed, the stand would simply not support my Letric XP 3.0. (probably under 70 lbs at that point). Basically, the sliding clamp that holds the two legs in place will simply not become tight enough to hold the weight. I suspect it will work with bikes under 40 lbs, but my stand will not hold an e-bike unless I make some sort of modification.Otherwise, the other parts of the stand work well. I do really like the tool tray, and the bike clamp seems to work well.

More junk

First , instructions say place clamps up, open mainsupport by pulling up.Dummy!! You put a set screw approximately 12 inches from the bottom of the side of the sliding leg clamps effectively preventing the jack stand from fully opening.Once again, I have to redesign Chinese designed junk. Too much trouble to pack and return. It’s heavy and awkward. So this afternoon I’ll drill out the set screw, remove and remount the legs. I’ll add a set screw for safety so it doesn’t accidentally fold up.Come to think of it, I could have saved much effort and money by putting a chain hoist in the garage. Probably be safer too. I have concerns for the overall safety of this device.I don’t understand the good reviews. There is no way anyone has assembled and used this as a jack stand with its current numerous design flaws.Amazon usually doesn’t permit negative reviews, so I expect this to be deleted, but I wanted to try to warn others to be careful. Actual value, $30 for parts, $0 for design, $0 for functionality.Incidentally, I am an Engineer.Opps, I broke it trying to open the legs fully. Since my 155 pounds broke the leg off, I doubt it would support an ebike of more than 35 pounds. My advice is DON’T BUY THIS JACKSTAND. CHEAP ALUMINUM. BROKE EASILY.

I like the ease of changing angles to adjust level position

I would like to see the manufacturers produce a spring loaded repair stand that would help offset the weight of heavier bikes , plus they need to make tensioner a little stronger.Overall I'm quite happy with this stand.I have others that do not compare at all.
