I chose this squalene oil because I heard it could help with rosacea. I add a couple of drops to my cream cleanser to prevent breakouts and oiliness, then I use a drop by itself to remove my eye makeup because my cleanser can’t be used near the eyes. The oil works great as a makeup remover and melts away my waterproof eyeliner and mascara. My skin has been noticeably clearer with regards to breakouts and heals faster when breakouts do occur. It does not do much for the rosacea redness on my cheeks, but my breakout problem areas look less irritated and are easier to cover with makeup. A single bottle has lasted me 3 months and is still half full; you really don’t need to use more than 4 drops per use. At this price, I highly recommend it for those with the right skin type.

I tried this as a lower cost alternative after running out of my Dr. Kiehls overnight serum (which is so expensive!) since squalene is the main ingredient in the serum. I wish I'd tried this first! I cannot believe that this whole bottle was only ~$10; it's incredibly moisturizing without feeling greasy or heavy. I'm fairly sensitive to smells, so I really appreciated the lack of scent. This bottle will last me a long time, and I'll be using it every day! Great product at an affordable price : )

You know how actress’s in movies when their skin looks so dewy after a shower… that’s the look this stuff gives you! And i wake up the next morning w my skin feeling supple and moisturized. I had a few big inflamed pimples (had a dairy purge over the weekend lol) and noticed such a difference after just one night- this called the inflammation so much! Love the ordinary because it’s cruelty free, clean ingredients, and cost effective and i have not yet been disappointed by a single product.

Bought based on hearing so much about it from social media. Have been using it almost daily for a month and can't see any major improvement yet, but it makes your skin feel very moisturized when you put it on. Feels good under makeup. Will continue to use to see if provides more long term results. Have purchased several products from The Ordinary for myself and my teenage daughter. Good products and you can't beat the prices.

LOVE THIS! This oil is light enough to "melt in" and mimic your natural skin's oil. I wear it all the time, day and night, and there have been no break outs or problems with it. I use it for facial massage, guasha use and for every day wear.

I work construction and suffer with extremely dry skin on my face. This is the only thing I’ve found that actually works in keeping my skin looking good and from hurting all day. It’s kind of oily at first but it dries. I’d buy again

Glides on my face. Non irritating and smooths my skin.

I love the consistency of this product. It leaves behind a glow after application and we all want that glow! It’s very hydrating!
