Extremely soft, I would suggest putting something on the bottom to prevent slipping.

Used to decorate my grandson's bedroom. He absolutely loves it!

I love the softness and the bat shape... loved it so much I bought 2 but the only issue is the black fabric easily pulls away from the backing. This issue has happened to both that I purchased unfortunately and I've had to fix them myself because I don't want to return them. I love the shape and texture I just wish that the black fabric was more secure to the backing. I was hoping it was just a defect with the first one I ordered but it also happened to the 2nd one I ordered within 3 days. They are lovely otherwise. I just suggest having fabric glue to secure to the backing when the fabric pulls away. So far mending it immediately had prevented the entire fabric from detaching from the backing. The pricing was also amazing compared to others and did I mention how soft they are. Pros and cons and the con wasn't enough for me not to keep them at all.

I am obsessed with bats so I had to get this, and it does not disappoint. It is a fuzzy fabric (think fluffy stuffed animal) glued onto a thin piece of backing. It does slip around but it is larger than I was expecting and it is super soft. The fluff isn't pulling out or falling out in any way and there are no hard spots from glue. It is definitely decor and I would not put it somewhere that would get dirty or wet.

This mat is a decorative piece for me more than a proper rug, but I like it. It's pretty thin, soft, and stays in place well enough against the floor. It's also inexpensive and looks nice. My only "complaint" or warning to others is the material on top is SLIPPERY, I almost slipped and busted my rear the first time I happened to walk on it - and even bare feet are prone to sliding out from under you if you're not careful. Otherwise, I do like this mat, but I will be detracting a star for the mini heart attack I had upon discovering this rug's ability to behave like a cartoon banana and send you sliding.

Due to the packaging, this (felt) one does not lay flat.It is very thin, and kind of a faded black.

I understand that the edges are not necessarily sharp but it’s still cute, I love it & it’s very soft. It was perfect for my dog’s food bowls
