Q: Can this metal go in the oven? I would like to make polymer clay jewellery which needs to be baked in the oven.

I’m not sure, it is jewelry grade metal, it is not stainless steel and it may chip or peel after being heated I would test a small piece before. I have not had this material long enough to know how well it holds up.

Q: Want to add charms using jump rings to chain, to be used as 'dangles' for journals etc. need quite thick chain and jump rings must fit chain. ?

Hi. Its a long time since I bought this, but, I think you should look for a stronger chain. I also found the roll kept getting tangled. Hope that helps
