This stuff is an absolute miracle!Products like this make me want to change all my other 5 star reviews to 4, because this is exceptional.I'm annoyed at myself for failing to take a 'before picture' but my 4 year old dog was beginning to get black back teeth. He also had a thin black line starting to appear on the top of his front ones. I felt horribly guilty, knowing my brushing was the problem - I had been doing it weekly(ish), and clearly not getting the back teeth enough.I decided to use this for 5 weeks and then start a daily brushing routine, with a new (quite costly!) toothbrush. I wanted to give the product a chance to work, hoping that when we started brushing again, the plaque would lift.However, 3 weeks in with no brushing yet at all - his teeth are perfect!!I didn't even need to brush to remove every single bit of plaque.We are going to continue the product, as well as doing daily brushing from now onwards and I'm confident he'll never suffer with bad teeth.I'll be trying their human version too!Note - this is a hard, crunchy powder. It doesn't matter how they consume it - it works when it goes through their digestive system and comes out in their saliva. You do not need to dissolve it, and it doesn't need to sit on top of their food - you can blend it in if they don't like it.

Seems like a good product. I haven’t used it on my three cats long enough to form a decision. I was previously using another seaweed based plaque product. Do not know if one is better than the other.I will continue with it and review again. Only a very small amount is required once a day. My three cats eat their food with it on without issue. Quite expensive for a tiny pot though. I have heard lots of good feedback about this product. I’d love to be able to find more out about how it works.

If something is going to help my cats have healthier teeth I am all in and giving it a go.,There are now several options of seaweed powder products but this is the brand I found first (which had now also expanded to include treats - of the hard and soft variety.I won’t say my cats don’t notice this is there because they do. I won’t say they like it because I’m pretty sure they don’t. It is easy to dose and I add a scoop to the daily portion of dry food and give it a good shake so that it is coating all food and is evenly distributed. It I don’t, there will be uneaten food in the dish (which is how I know they wouldn’t have this by choice!) .The hard treats are Ok but go out of date quickly and then they make my cats stick. The soft treat version was turned down by 2 out of three cats. So it’s this food additive or force them to brush which we would all hate!I don’t give wet food but it might be more acceptable to cats in this?They probably will still meee dental care at some point but if this help and means only one op on a life time father than 2 or more, it’s worth persevering.Seaweed - who knew?

It may work. I stopped using it because my dog had to have teeth extracted but actually her teeth seemed to get worse a lot more quickly after that so I have restarted it.

Been using this on my 8yo Vizsla for some years now, and it actually works! She had medium-bad plaque on her teeth and after using this for several months the plaque would just come off with a bit of help (I just used my nails to scrape it off). I was super amazed. Never had to get her teeth cleaned by the vet because of this product!

Was sceptical but looking at majority of reviews they said it worked so took a punt.I can confirm it DOES work and our 8 year old Cockerpoo who would never let us clean her teeth now had better breath for starters but also the build up on her teeth is going. Started using 3 months ago and really is making a difference.

It's too early to really tell how good it is at keeping my dogs teeth clean so if I remember I'll update in a few months.I have an elderly rescue dog who came to me with a myriad of old, untreated ailments including dreadful dental problems and chronic pancreatitis. The vet had to do extensive dental work and had to remove 10 teeth and recommended this as an alternative to trying to get an old dog to accept having his teeth brushed. I was a bit wary as anything other than his prescription food seems to trigger his pancreatitis but he has had no adverse reaction and eats his dinner with this mixed in. Hoping that his remaining teeth stay nice and clean too.

I wasn’t sure if this product would work, due to some reviews but I can say after few months of using this iv definitely seen improvement in both my dogs teeth, I have 8 year old and 4 year old! Both who wouldn’t let me near them with a tooth brush! Between this product and a dried dog food that is for dental care I can honestly say both my dogs teeth have improved! Teeth are a lot whiter and plaque is slowly getting less and less! Just don’t expect instant results I use it once per day in their meal and doest effect stomach or poo’s this is my second order and iv added to my subscription
