I bought this Master Lock key safe to make it easier for our dog walker to access the house while we’re at work and it’s been absolutely perfect for the job.The installation was straightforward. It comes with a mounting kit and clear instructions, and once it’s securely attached to the wall, it feels really solid and tamper-resistant. The size is just right—not bulky, but big enough to hold a couple of keys with room to spare.The combination lock is easy to set and feels secure. We especially like that we can change the code anytime, which gives extra peace of mind if we ever change dog walkers or need to give someone else temporary access.

After locking myself out of my home 3 times I thought I would purchase a key safe. My son fitted it for me & since having it I haven’t needed to use it. I have my own code for opening it which was easy to do. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I can if needed I have access to the spare key.

4 stars because it does do the basic job.Points lost for the fact that the "fixing kit" is four screws and no wall plugs - ie misleading description - why not say four screws !! - and the fact that the plastic lever that opens the box is stiff and awkward to flip for anyone with even slightly impaired grip. Bit of design that lets the unit down (a push button would have been better).Also, the video ads are ridiculous. Basically: "Get our keysafe or you will end up in jail and your children will perish on the doorstep". No. We just need the carers to let themselves in, thanks.
