Bought this kit to try resin crafting. I had never done it before. Read the directions and did watch you tube on how to mix the pigment and use the dusting shiny powder. My friend and I did this, it was great fun and I think we had good results. The one downside was one of the molds had the resin bottles sitting on it in the box so it would not sit flat. Carefully weighted it down while it dried. One of the other molds was a little wonky from packaging too. But it had great pigment choices, gold flakes, tools, shiny dusting powders, gloves- it was a great kit!

Great kit for beginners. The epoxy is so crystal clear when completed. I made coasters and an ornament with pictures inside. They came out great.

Makes a great gift for someone who's a beginner at crafting. Pairs nicely with pressed flowers.

Definitely a beginner kit. Misleadimg to say cutting board..really read description. Forms are very small. Like coaster size. You can get maybe 4 shapes out of the kit 5 if you're lucky. The directions suck. Had to youtube a video and it made it so much clearer. Basically equal parts of A and B stir and add color. Add extra color or it will be pale amd see thru. And it changes as it dries. They need to get rid of the so called cutting board shapes and just do a circle and square. Maybe do a different kit with an actual cutting board. Be sure to soak cups in soapy warm water to clean them so you can use them again or they are trash. And toothpicks work well for mixing if you use up the few popsicle sticks. To avoid bubbles slowly fold the mix instead of stirring. You will still get some but not as many. Do not use a hairdryer if you are trying to get the white to or any other color swirl. Use a toothpick or gently blow! Otherwise buy ine of the special dryers but only if you're doing this hardcore. Hope this helps. Wear old clothes it doesnt come off. Wear gloves or wash your hands with warm water and dawn dish soap 🙂

This was my first time working with epoxy resin and this is a great beginner kit! Definitely recommend.
