Well, our 3 year old daughter loves, LOVES cars. She watches Tayo as much as she can get away with, and one of the characters on that is called Carrie, a transporter and two crazy sports cars, Shine (yellow) and Speedy (red). She had been gifted a Barbie car that was really flimsy plastic and didn't stand up to rough 3 year old play and she was devastated when it broke (we weren't!) She was delighted when my husband found this on Amazon. It's exactly what she loves. First, it's HUGE! And since one of the things she loves doing is sitting on it pushing it along with her feet, this is a good thing. I have no idea if it's been designed to be used like that, but it's standing up to quite a lot of abuse without any damage. It is very sturdy. Also, she loves that the two cars are like the sports cars from Tayo. There have been many, many games where they've crashed and needed a "rescue team" in the form of the transporter to take them back to the garage for mending. The night it arrived she spent hours (I'm not joking!) playing with it and even wanted to take it to bed. Her brother who is a chunky 10 month old is enjoying eating the cars when he gets a chance, though that doesn't happen very often.This has more than made up for the broken Barbie car.

My 1yr old Grandson loved this. He can open the back and pull out the cars and load up again. Lovely and sturdy and great size for little hands. Nice bright colours. No sharp edges. It will last for years and he can get fun out of it for a long time to come. As alot of toys break easily and are thrown away quickly I'd definitely have no hesitation in buying or recommending Little Tikes toys I bought them 40yrs ago for my first child and 3 children later they were still perfect and played with.

Brought this for my two year old grandson as he is mad about cars & trucks. I knew Little Tikes is a good brand & wasn’t disappointed. It is really sturdy & well made. I know he will love it.

Little Tikes Big Car Carrier This is the best toy I have ever bought. It was a present for my grandson for his 3rd birthday on 6th December 2012.It is very sturdy and can take rough handling. My grandson is a big boy for his age and he can sit on it and ride round the floor on it. He loves the colour yellow and was delighted when he got the cars out, one yellow and one red. He has played with it everyday since he got it, including Christmas day when he put some of his Christmas cars in it which are smaller. He was so pleased he could fit so many in. It is a really solid toy and well worth the money.

I love this toy i purchased a few years ago for my Grandson and now for my Granddaughter and she loves it, it's simple and sturdy virtually unbreakable i would say the kids love it.

Felt this was a very good purchase. Whilst the price is dear, the product is durable and will last for years. This arrived in tact. The truck is life size for a young child. They can actually sit on it and ride on it.Durability: Five stars without a doubt, little tikes always stands the test of time and you can resell it for half the price you paid for it, without a doubt! You feel you've made a good purchase compared to some brands of vehicles that are out there.Color: It is exactly as you see in the pictureSize: Lifesize for young children. It's big enough to sit and ride on. Our children love this.Price: I can't complain about the price because I know I can turn around and sell this on Ebay or Netmums when we are done with it. It's worth every penny to me, especially if you have other children that will use it for years to come. I would honestly consider keeping it for future grandchildren, simply because it's just so durable and long lasting. We are very happy with this purchase. I rated it 4 stars because it doesn't quite tick the complete box for educational purpose. Whilst it encourages independent play, role playing, etc in young children, it isn't going to teach them the alphabet, but it gets 5 stars for fun and durability.

I first bought one of these 12 years ago for our first grandchild who absolutely loved it. We have another grandson and I’m hoping he will love it’s much. Purchased as a Christmas gift.
