Worked awesome on my deck job. Using the name brand joist tape would have nearly doubled the cost of my deck job. Ouch! This did the same thing for a fraction of the cost. So glad I was able to find this as I know it'll extend the life of my deck and it did so for a reasonable cost!

Be aware! It's sticky (expected), so you need to handle with a plan! I'd suggest using in smaller strips, lay it out stringing flat from a point & keep away from contact until ready to lay down.

used it on the deck joists. Really sticky stuff and easy to put down. It is sitting open to the winter now - can't wait to see what it is like in the spring when I resume work on the deck.

I got this to apply to the joists on a deck that we put composite decking onto. We re-used some original wood joists, which were full of holes from the old decking; this tape covered them right up and should keep water out, prolonging the life of the structure. Easy to cut and apply.
