Q: Does this actually work? Dont want to waste £10

I read the reviews and brought it on that basis - however I wish I'd saved my money because it doesn't work - I used it when I knew my cat had fleas (even though treated with preventative monthly spot on) and it didn't get any of them at all. So I thought I'd try Johnson 4 Fleas tablets as a last resort - worth the money as literally within minutes of giving the tablet to my cat the fleas started falling off her. I kept her on a light colour pillow case so I could see the horrible things and groomed her to loosen any eggs as the tablets don't kill those. I repeated this several times over a couple of weeks to make sure any hatched eggs were dealt with and have had a flea free cat apart from one occasion when she spent the night outside - spotted a flea gave her the tablet two dropped off and not seen another since. I'd recommend Johnson 4 Fleas because it's an immediate result and you can use every day until fleas gone if you wanted. However I'd also recommend using a spray for the home as eggs can fall off and remain dormant for months until they pick up a new host. Wherever your cat goes give a good hoover including skirting and then spray or use the flea bombs. wash their bedding on a very hot wash - anything that can't be washed give a good spray with the flea killer. You would need to groom the coat well before using the comb I imagine. We didn't have much luck with our huskies thick fur and fidgitting behaviour, but if your dog is relaxed it could work. We still have a go. The fleas were so many this summer we had to use drops.
