Good item, a proper bright light to read by. Clipped onto my bookshelf about 10" above my head, it holds it's 'strength' of light across the distance to my book (about 30" away from the light source).I am sharing two pictures. The first (L) is the warm light setting, the second (R) is the cool white setting. (FYI: My wall is painted a neutral 'greige)'.Both cool and warm on the brighty setting are good to read by, but I do prefer the warm. There is the option of both colours being dimmed, as well. These ower setting aren't bright enough to read by, but do provide a nice, ambient light.Worth mentioning that the delivery service was excellent, I had them by the next day. Perfect!

Looks nice, and has good bend on the neck. The clamp opens wide enough to get over a thick wooden bed head. The different lights are great, this was bought for an 8year old who is temporarily squashed into our dressing room while both grannies are staying- so no room for a bedside table. This fits the bill perfectly. He can have bright light or slightly dimmer light, and can easily adjust himself. The most important thing was to have something that fitted onto the bed and wasn't a cheap thing with an exposed bulb that he could burn himself on. I would highly recommended this, and once our youngest has finished with it I will use it for extra light when I'm sewing. Really happy with it for the price.

When I ordered this reading light last year, it came with a POWER ADAPTOR. I was so pleased with it, that I ordered a further 3 lamps. Unfortunately, when these were delivered they came WITHOUT the power adapter. When I contacted the suppliers about this, they responded with the comment that power adapters for these lamps were not provided. They come with a USB connector at the end of the lead, and whilst these can be plugged into a USB socket on a computer or laptop, it's quite useless where it comes to using it as a bed-light, where no convenient USB outlet is conveniently placed. I have tried looking round for a suitable adapter, but without any success. So overall, I am disappointed, as without a power adapter it completely useless.

Bright white LED lights have recently been identified as 'bad for us'. So to have the option of white or warm, giving a much lower colour temperature as well as two levels of intensity is really useful. The unit seems sturdy and well made and the goose neck is of a good length and stays where it's put. The lead is of a good length and the switch seems of good quality. The clamp is strongly sprung so not likely to shift and the cost is reasonable with a choice of three finishes. So why not five stars? The head doesn't seem to want to be turned into position on it's axis and I'm fearful of damaging it.

After a few weeks using this as a bedside lamp, I can say that I love it! The clip is quite hard and sturdy, I like that it doesn't take space on the table. You can bend the neck however you want, it's easy to adjust but at the same time is so sturdy that it will stay in place if you push it by accident. The 2 settings are perfect for me, I like dim warm light in the bedroom but if I need more light I can use the bright setting or the cold light setting which by itself it's brighter than the warm one. LED lights are supposed to be very durable so hopefully I won't need to replace it in a very long time.

If considering this and the similar 6W W-LITE model, go for this one.Bought this Lepower model and W-LITE's similar 6W ring-shaped clip-on gooseneck light at the same time; this is far superior. Its gooseneck is very solid and feels as if it could support a much heavier lamp (W-LITE's is barely adequate). The bit of protective cloth around the clip is a nice touch. The clip is very strong and just adequately padded. The 360 degree rotation feature on the head is useful (no such on the W-LITE). The four modes (two brightness, two colour temperature) are good (W-LITE only has colour temp). This one comes with a little UK mains power adaptor (W-LITE doesn't). Measured power consumption is 2.8W on high, 0.5W on low. Technically, the W-LITE model is superior in brightness but since it's way lower than advertised power (3.7W), it's only about a third brighter than the Lepower. Not very significant, but it was a nice sign that this came in a branded cardboard box.Downsides? None really; my only criticism is that the padding on the clip isn't quite solid enough, and had already been crushed fairly flat by the (very grippy) jaws in transit.

Lovely quality finish, 4 settings (warm and cool light on two brightness settings each) and really strong good clip for headboard/desk/wherever. Used mine on my windowsill in my studio flat as I needed some low lighting but don't have room for a floor lamp and didn't want a lamp on the windowsill itself. Really love it!

Love it. Bought this lamp to attach to my drawing board. There are 4 different light settings, which is a real bonus when I'm working at different times of the day. Very flexible long neck that stays the the position I place it. The clip is wide so will go onto thick tables or boards.Great price as well as I'm very happy
