I've been using this for about a month or so now and I have to admit I really like the ability to store the cards. No more opening the wallet to take out a card for payment, just flip the switch and BAM! Super convenient and compact - plus it really turns heads! The cash carrying element of it I found to be OK, it's slightly awkward to unfold it and take the cash out/put it in compared to a regular wallet, however it isn't the worst and I rarely use cash - be warned though it is specifically for cards, so if you use a large 'wad' of cash it really doesn't close, so one/two/three notes and that's about it. But the cash holder is handy for receipt storage. In terms of number of cards, I've managed to fit in 4 inside the leather compartments and 5 in the silver piece - you could do 6 if they aren't bevelled in the silver bit, but 5 is comfortable. So the number of cards stored is pretty darn high, and with those 4 inside you can get away with a business card or two stuffed in there too alongside. The ease of taking the cards out is brilliant and I can't appreciate this product enough, it's exactly what I wanted - a high capacity card holder with the RFID blocking features I want along with super compactness along with a really unique and eye catching feature. My only concern is perhaps after a few more months or a year or two maybe the flipper in the silver bit may snap as I worry about the strain you put on the cards each and every day by pushing the lever against them. However only time will tell and it certainly doesn't feel flimsy or poorly made so I've my fingers crossed it'll last a few years if not longer. Update- I’ve had this since 2016, so 3 years now and the lever has lasted at least this long with daily use. Essentially it’s brilliant, long lasting and extremely well made. Even the leather still looks great after all this time. Perfect!

Keeps credit cards organised and safe. Practically the wallet is very easy to use with credit cards and the limited number of slots available encourages a thinning out of loyalty cards and stops you lugging around unecessary plastic that can easily be added to a smart phone app. Because of the small physical size of the wallet it initially caused some anxiety thinking I'd lost it - standard sized wallet always carried in the back pocket of trousers, this wallet is so small that it can be easily slipped into any pocket! The main part of the wallet is an aluminium sleeve that keeps cards safe from RFI scanning and can accomodate up to 5 standard credit cards. (To accommodate 5 cards, the cards have to be arranged opposite way round, such that the embossed number section do not overlap - not as difficult as it sounds!). The lever mechanism at the base of the wallet pushes the cards out of the top of the aluminium sleeve and fans the cards making selection of the correct card very easy. (I was initially concerned that the lever mechanism would be fragile and possibly get caught and eject the cards from the wallet accidently - this hasn't been the case - the lever is very robust and operation is very reliable). Worth noting that the main credit card section of the wallet cannot be used for holding tickets e.g. rail tickets - the tickets are too thin and are not pushed out of the wallet by the lever mechanism, but these can be easily held in the pockets of the leather wrap around section of the wallet. Money is held in the wallet by a plastic folder / clip incorporated within the leather wrap around section - notes have to be folded in half and the plastic at first encounter appears flimsy, but has presented no problems so far. Using paper money with the wallet is a bit fiddly - but since money is used so infrequently this doesn't really present a problem. Bit pricey - but really pleased with this purchase because of the practical functionality and overall appearance.

I’ve been looking at smart wallets for a while and did a lot of research. I got fed up of trying to fit my normal wallet into pockets that just bulged ridiculously. I thought a smart wallet would be too small to fit even the essentials in. I was so wrong! The Secrid mini wallet is a work of art and extremely well made. It feels like it will last a lifetime. The leather is very soft to the touch and has a quality feel, the card mechanism works smoothly and positively. Even the cash holder just works as it should. This is an extremely well thought out piece of kit that has been really well made. Compared to my old wallet, this is less than half the size (and that’s with the old wallet empty and the Secrid full!). I’ve fitted all my essential cards and store cards, driver’s licence etc. and it takes it all. The only things I couldn’t fit were my emergency migraine tablets (so I just bought a small key ring pill holder). The only downside is the mild panic when you think you’ve forgotten your wallet, only to find it neatly nestled at the bottom of your pocket 🙄😬. I love this wallet (a phrase never thought I’d hear myself say). If you carry a little cash (not coins) and want a really nice simple high quality wallet that works flawlessly, buy this. You won’t regret it.

This is, in my humble opinion, the best wallet in the world. I have bought one as a 'spare' & one for a gift for my son. I've tried all sorts of wallets before the Secrid (plastic, aluminium, clam shell, etc.) & this is easily the most compact, durable & practical wallet I have ever used. Sure, it's not cheap, but it is very well made & oozes style & sophistication when the bank cards rise as if by magic! The cards don't get damaged as they are protected in the aluminium case. I can also carry quite a few bank notes within the bill fold in the wallet part, as well as several less frequently used 'loyalty' cards. I don't keep coins in the wallet, but then I don't do that in any wallet anyway. You can probably tell that I whole heartedly recommend this product, based on the length & enthusiasm of my review (& 'no' I don't work for the company in any way, shape, or form!)

Lovely wallet- my husband is really impressed with it. I ordered the Walnut colored leather and within 2 weeks it has become really scratched and worn. I'm a little disappointed with the look of it now with the amount of money I paid for it- especially as it was a wedding anniversary gift.

Got the product couple of weeks ago, surprisingly spacious compared to the size. Fits all my cards inside the sliding compartment, id and driving license. Easily holds couple of banknotes and even squeezed couple of coins behind id card. Overall compared to the size - i found a place for everything. The sliding mechanism works very good, cards do not fall off when caring the wallet around. When pulled out the cards are opened nicely and slide smooth when pushed inside. As for the leather quality - seems pretty good however the time will tell. The same relates to overall manufacturing quality. . Not disappointed with purchase and works as expected, will put the wallet under the test of time.
