Unreliable automatic reference junction
Initial impressions saw it working reasonably well, used as a round robin audit device for temperature simulation. Light use in various labs. Soon found that I had to manually set the internal reference junction to get reasonably consistent results. Then after less than 10 uses it failed completely, no screen display apart from the battery indicator. This is now beyond economic repair so at only 8 months old I am writing it off. I guess you get what you pay for or maybe I’m just unlucky, time to dust down the old TC301, heavy old but still working.
