Great for cleaning up aluminum
I had a long piece of 1x 4" aluminum that needed to be cleaned up for an art installation project. I used to use an orbital sander or this, slow and used a lot of discs. With this grinder wheel, it was done in about 1/10th the time and it looked fabulous.

Removes millscale quickly
These are awesome. Remove millscale easier and faster than a flap disk and don't remove any base material.

Awesome
Great sanding disc. I’ve been using them for years. They prep metal before I use body filler and primer. Highly recommend.

Great product but shipped wrong size
This is great to remove paint off a metal door. Pretty durable ad it takes the paint off to bare metal. The people that said it wore down definitely put to much pressure on the disc instead of letting the speed of the grinder do the work. I took stars off for shipment. Great deal for 5 and I ended up with 1 disc. I really wanted the 5 pack sent to me instead of my money back. Other then that, great product.

4th place out of the 4 brands I’ve tried.
I’ve tried 4 brands of these abrasive wheels and the Norton’s are the worst of the 4. They load up, burn/melt then don’t remove mill scale at all. The 3M’s were best, then some AvantiPro off the shelf at HD, then ShopSmith believe it or not from my local ACE...distant last is the Norton. I have 4 more of them that I’m stuck with, if it need to remove something super easy, maybe I’ll take to time to reach for one but I sure won’t be buying any more. I used their sandpaper for years, but these fall short.
