Glisten Dishwasher Cleaner & Disinfectant

Let me paint you a picture. For months, my dishwasher smelled like it was hosting a swamp monster in witness protection. Every time I opened the door, I half-expected a puff of toxic gas to roll out and a family of raccoons to waddle away, waving goodbye. The dishes were “clean” in the same way a toddler is “clean” after wiping chocolate on their shirt. Something had to change. Enter Glisten Lemon Scented Dishwasher Cleaner. Now, I’ll admit, I wasn’t expecting much. I’ve tried vinegar. I’ve tried baking soda. I’ve even tried running the dishwasher empty and whispering encouraging words like, “You can do this, buddy.” Nothing worked. But this little lemon-scented miracle? It turned my dishwasher from a biohazard zone into a citrus-scented temple of cleanliness. First Impressions The bottle is small. Like, suspiciously small. I thought, “This is never going to tackle the horrors growing inside my dishwasher.” But I was desperate. I cracked it open, set it in the rack, and hit “Start” like a mad scientist about to test his most dangerous invention. Within minutes, the kitchen filled with the unmistakable smell of lemon. Not fresh lemons, mind you, but that hyper-enthusiastic cleaning product lemon. You know the type—like a lemon that studied abroad and came back pretentious. It wasn’t bad, though. In fact, it was… reassuring. The Transformation When the cycle finished, I opened the door cautiously, ready for disappointment. But lo and behold—my dishwasher looked different. Shinier. Happier. It smelled like someone had scrubbed every surface with zest from Zeus’s personal lemon tree. For the first time in years, there wasn’t a whiff of “something died in here.” I swear, I heard the faint sound of angels singing. Or maybe that was just the hum of the rinse cycle echoing in my delirium. Either way, the funk was gone. Performance This stuff doesn’t just deodorize; it exorcises. The scum, the film, the crusty bits that I had previously accepted as “permanent residents”? Gone. My dishwasher looked like it had joined a 12-step program for appliances and come out the other side with its life together. The dishes? Sparkling. Glasses so clear I could see my reflection—though admittedly, I was a bit disturbed by how long I stared at myself, whispering “we did it.” Plates so clean I briefly considered eating dinner off them without washing them first. (Don’t worry, I didn’t. Probably.) The Downside Now, let’s be fair—this isn’t a miracle worker for your wallet. It’s a small bottle, single-use, and you’ll want to repeat the process every month if you want to keep that “lemon spa day” vibe going. But honestly? Worth it. I’d rather spend a few bucks on this than continue living with a dishwasher that smells like the bottom of a bait bucket. Also, the lemon scent lingers. A lot. My dishwasher smelled like a citrus grove for three days straight. It wasn’t unpleasant, but I did briefly worry my neighbors would think I had a secret lemonade operation in my kitchen. The Human Element Here’s the real kicker: using Glisten doesn’t just clean your dishwasher—it cleanses your soul. No longer do you feel the shame of guests accidentally catching a whiff when they walk by your kitchen. No longer do you apologize to your spouse with lines like, “It’s not the dishwasher, it’s… uh… the cat?” (We don’t even have a cat.) This product gives you dignity. It makes you proud to load your dishwasher again. It’s the kind of product that, if it were a person, would high-five you and say, “Don’t worry, I got this.” Why Lemon? I’ll be honest, lemon has always been a bit of an overachiever in the cleaning world. Nobody’s ever bragged about a lavender dishwasher cleaner, or pine-scented. But lemon? Lemon has branding power. Lemon walks into a room and says, “This place is clean now.” Glisten harnesses that energy and weaponizes it against grease and funk. Closing Thoughts So, is Glisten Lemon Scented Dishwasher Cleaner worth it? Absolutely. Will it change your life? Maybe not in the “win the lottery and move to a tropical island” way, but definitely in the “my dishwasher no longer smells like a crime scene” way. It’s not just a cleaner—it’s an intervention. It’s hope in a bottle. It’s proof that even the filthiest, smelliest, most hopeless dishwashers can be redeemed. ⸻ Final Verdict: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Five stars. If your dishwasher smells like death and regret, this is the product you need. It’s like a citrus exorcist for appliances. Pricey? A little. Worth it? Every penny. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

It Works. Initial good cleaning but not as clean as I wanted. It Works. Overall a very good clean but still left a little grime in the dishwasher area around the door seals. Compared to other dishwasher cleaners that I've used, this is the best.

I didn’t realize how badly my dishwasher needed a deep clean until I used Glisten Dishwasher Magic — and wow, what a difference. It tackled the built-up grime, hard water stains, and that musty smell that never seemed to go away. Super easy to use: just run it on an empty cycle, and it does the work. The inside looked sparkling clean, and it even helped my dishes come out fresher. I also love that it disinfects — not just deodorizes. If your dishwasher needs a reset, this stuff is a game-changer. One bottle = a cleaner, healthier kitchen appliance.

I have a 10 year old dishwasher that was showing its age with grimy build up. I would say this product really helped a lot but wasn't a complete problem solver. There are still areas near the seals that will require some elbow grease to clean up. Overall, left my older dishwasher visibly cleaner with a nice clean smell. Recommended!

A few years back my dishwasher was starting to show what looked like some sort of mineral buildup that made the wash basin of the dishwasher look particularly grey and grimy. Worst of all my dishes (especially my glassware) began to emit a not so fresh odor after I would pull them straight from the dishwasher after a cleaning cycle. These issues made me check on Amazon to see if there were any particular products that could provide a solution to the dishwasher problems that I was experiencing. The search engine took me right to Dishwasher Magic. I purchased a single bottle and I could not be more pleased with the results. The instructions are straightforward. Empty out your dishwasher, remove the cap to the bottle of Dishwasher Magic, verify the wax plug has not been broken or leaking, then flip the bottle upside down and place in the bottom rack of your dishwasher (I put mine in the utensil basket). Run some hot water from your kitchen sink and wait for the water to get hot. This guarantees that your dishwasher will be receiving hot water more immediately when turned on, which will make the wax plug in the Dishwasher Magic bottle disintegrate more quickly. Once that is done turn off your kitchen sink faucet, set your dishwasher on it's longest and hottest setting (for me I set the washer for "Pots and Pans"), then turn your dishwasher on and wait until the machine turns itself off. The results after my first use with Dishwasher Magic were pretty immediate. The basin which was once dark and slimy became clean and white, the interior of the dish machine brightened by this product. The cleaner did a terrific job breaking down the grime that had built up inside, and almost made my dishwasher's interior look factory new. As an added bonus there was a mild scent of lemon that emanated from the machine, adding an additional sensory confirmation of the device's new found cleanliness. The first real use of the machine after the initial cleaning cycle with dirty dishes gave positive results. No longer did I have tiny specks of grime laying on top of upturned glassware. No longer did I smell a not so fresh odor when I took a sip from a supposedly "clean" mug. All dishes looked great, smelled great, and all became right regarding my dishwasher. I have been using Dishwasher Magic for over three years and I suggest this product first to anyone who is experiencing any dishwasher woes regarding griminess and not so clean dishes from their current dish machine. I use a bottle once every 90 days and can probably stretch it out to four months between cleanings so a three pack probably can last you a year so long as your not doing heavy duty (daily) use. Highly recommended.

Works better than expected. I was shocked. This is the only thing I have been able to find that gets the grease of the bottom of the dishwasher without having to scrub anything. I used 2 bottles with hottest wash option. After 1 bottle, 95% of the grease was gone. After bottle 2, it was perfectly clean. It was easy to use and easy to throw the bottle out when done. Would buy again.

I love this stuff, it works great! You just don't think a lot about cleaning your dishwasher, and now you don't have to give it a second thought. This dishwasher cleaner does the trick, it really works. However, you should remember to take some paper towels and clean around the insides of the door, cuz nothing gets there except a little elbow grease. 😂

Over-priced when compared to other offers on the website! Sorry I didn’t look further before buying!

المنتج جداا رائع لازالة طبقة الملح من غسالة الصحون

This is the absolute best product we have tried for our hard water stains and build up.

Segui las instrucciones tal cual y y no sirvio para nada

Good for monthly cleaning and simple to use.

I had like 3ish years of hard water white stuff buildup all inside my dishwasher that I could never get fully clean without scrubbing it and even then I couldn't get it all and it would be back the following day. Somebody recommended this to me, I find it a bit expensive but I decided to try it..One heavy duty cleaning cycle with this stuff and this is the cleanest my dishwasher has ever been since I first bought it. Almost all that white buildup is gone! Id definitely buy again. Im sold!
