Soft and sparkly
Simply Soft Party yarn has more loft and is lighter in weight than the regular Simply Soft variety. It still has a nice sheen, and there's a sparkly fiber that twists around the yarn about every 1/4". It's listed as a #4 weight, but it functions more as a #5, I think.It's actually a bit easier to work with because it splits less than the regular Simply Soft yarn.It doesn't have the scratchiness that usually comes with metallic yarns. You can wear this against your skin.It's about twice as expensive as the regular Simply Soft yarn. It has about 165 yards. I've used it to create borders around my crochet Afghan motifs and it looks great.I'd like to try out all the different sparkle colors. So far, my favorite is the grey platinum sparkle.

Great yarn for certain projects.
This yarn is very soft and has great colors to choose from. It’s great for a bsby afghan or child’s blanket. I’m making a mermaid blanket out of it for a grandchild, and it looks great and feels soft. You would not want to use it for an item that needs a stiffer yarn.

You won't be disappointed if you buy this yarn. Color selection is great & the yarn is consistent in the ply throughout the skein. If you buy white, you never have to be concerned about the dye lot.

The pink yarn arrived on time. It worked well for my project, feels nice, and creates a warm scarf.

Nice soft yarn
Used this yarn for a pattern that called for Caron Simply Soft Speckle yarn. Even though pattern called for 1 skein, I just had enough to finish the hat. Nice color effect with this yarn. Only drawback is that it tends to separate.
