Snug fit
Well made, actually used it to connect to another adapter which also happened to be Fotodiox, and glad I bought this one, although I hadn’t realised at the time, as it mates perfectly

A lot of this adapters leave a bit to much ...
A lot of this adapters leave a bit to much juggling room between the lens and the camera which causes sloppiness when operating - not here!!Very snug fit, reliable bit of kit. Get this if you don't want to compromise. Decent price for the quality of build too.

Great bit of kit, does the trick.
Ordered 15th Jan, arrived on the 23rd - not bad considering it came all the way from the U S of A. Anyway, it does exactly what you want it to - I now have an 'old' (mid-late 80's) Nikon E Series 50mm lens fitted to my Canon 600D. Now I can shoot at f1.8 and get much, much better shots in low light. For only £18.95 I can use old lenses that I inherited from my Grandfather on a modern day Canon camera. The only reason I've given it 4 out of 5 is because it is not a 100% perfect fit... there is a little bit of movement/rattle but I must stress that this is minimal and does not affect shooting. If you want to use auto focus etc then get the next model up, but for manual shooting this little adaptor is perfect. Great for manual focus pulling in video mode too. Very happy.

Great Adapter
I needed to connect my nikon 50mm AI lens to my canon D650 camera and it work a treat!with this old lens the adapter did not 'click' into place as such but the connection was nice and tight with no play and no need to modify with tacky bits of paper for a snug fit.The adapter at the camera end did click into place however and fits perfectly.word of warning: do not attempt to take your lens off the adapter while fitted to the camera! press the release button on the camera and remove both the adapter and lens together, then remove your lens from your adapter. That way you don't run the risk of doing what I did with a previous adapter, and end up having to force the adapter from the lens after it became stuck due to trying to be clever and change lens on the fly during a shoot, because I tried to swap lens out to save time and wrongly attached the lens to the adapter while still attached to my canon, resulting in it becoming jammed.Suffice to say I've learnt from a quite 'common' mistake the hard way, and thought I'd pass this info on.Apart from this, a great product, and efficient service with an incredible fast dispatch given the distance !!buy with confidence.

2019. DOES NOT FIT. Recently outsourced manufacture to China it seems.
Have spent a few hours out of the last two days trying to fit this product on to the lens. It barely fits on my 7D and is very hard to remove when I do get it on. I hope it has not caused any damage to either my lens or camera. The label says it is 'made in china' in contrast to what they advertised on their old instructional videos of how to install the adapter. My suspicion is that they have outsourced to china without sufficient testing of any kind. The result is a poor quality product, incapable of doing the task it is sold for. There are a few differences in how the product looks from the amazon images to the actual product(writing and hole placement) which looks more like the adapters on their old instructional videos on Youtube.Needless to say I shall have to return this pointless item which was a waste of my time.

Works well but it i difficult to remove
Works well but is difficult to remove. If you can leave it in the lens could be a solution if you have to remove it often is not so good.

Before you purchase, read this!
The product has great quality and feels sturdy and durable considering the price. Be aware that the ring only allows you connect your Nikon lenses to your canon body by mechanical methods. This means you will not be able to control the auto-focus and aperture of the lens, as this adaptor does not connect the lens contacts to the body. The adaptor has a locking mechanism, ensuring that your lens does not come off when in use and makes it easier for you to remove the lens from the body. This adaptor is an inexpensive ideal alternative to the higher priced adaptors for prime lenses or lenses that have f. stop and focus rings, as you will not be able to use the body to control any features of the lens. I bought this for my Canon 70D to use a Nikon AF Nikkor 50mm prime lens and it works perfectly.

Useful Nikon to EF adaptor
I bought a load of these adapters for my old Nikon AIS lenses to use on my film and video shoots. Fotodiox Lens Mount Adapters are good quality and the fit seems good with my EF mount Blackmagic 6K. A great way to keep using your old AIS Nikons and create a slightly more vintage look to you film / video work. Not quite as good as EF conversion but a great temp fix or long term adapter if you don't want to convert.

too tight on lens side and too loose on camera body side
as stated in the headline, the one I got is too tight on the lens side and made it almost impossible to remove.. I even have to wear glove to add more friction. the camera side is the opposite and I can even see the lens is lightly sagging.I returned it back to Amazon in the end, and would not recommend this (Nikon F to Canon EOS) to anyone.

Works as expected
Great deal for the cost. Perfect if you were like me and had an old Nikon lens from a film slr camera with manual aperture control on the lens. Lets me use it perfectly with my rebel T3i. Things to note: you will not be able to use auto focus with this, Also only by if you have lens with manual aperture control because you will not be able to change aperture through the camera.

Marche comme prévu
Ce produit marche parfaitement pour mettre mes objectifs Nikkor sur mon boîtier Canon Eos30D, et ça a l'air solide. Je recommande.

Perfect fit...
I bought this to replace a cheaper knock-off adapter I got from the "Big Auction Site", so I can directly compare them side-by-side. That cheaper adapter said it would work with Nikon's older non-AI lenses. Well, it did mount on the lens, but the tolerance was so tight you could not turn the aperture ring, making it not particularly useful (unless I suppose you were OK with shooting the lens wide-open).The Fotodiox adapter looks almost exactly the same so clearly the cheaper knock-off copied the design. The only difference is that black ring which can see in the photo. Not quite sure if it is a plastic insert or just some type of paint, but the cheaper knock-off didn't have that. It was just bare metal. The aperture ring of the lens contacts the adapter at that point, so I don't know if that has anything to do with it working correctly or if the Fotodiox is just made to tighter tolerances, but it mounts perfectly and the aperture rings turns as it should. It is also much easier to remove the Fotodiox adapter from the lens than the cheap knock-off is.The Fotodiox adapter is twice the cost of the cheaper knock-off I got, but the reality is that it just works 100% as it should. I suppose you get what you pay for, so I'm sticking with Fotodiox rather than the cheaper knock-off adapters from now on.Overall, I highly recommend it.EDIT to add: I note several previous reviewers indicating that it is difficult to remove the adapter from the lens and I would agree with that. Pushing down the lever and trying to twist the adapter off the lens is difficult because it is a tight fit. It simply requires more "force" than one would expect, but it will actually come off when such force is applied. Frankly, the cheap copy of this adapter I had was even worse in that regard so I would say the Fotodiox is an improvement.
