WYT 6-Pack Clear 7 Quart Storage Latch Box/Bins, Plastic Stackable Latching Box with Brown Handle and Lid, Multi-Purpose, 7 Litre

I ordered the 3.5qt bins last June and they’ve held up great since then. I’ve stored heavy things like locks and breakers in them and have had no problems. The lid and handle show no signs of cracking/bending. The best part is they stack well on each other and stay in place without wobbling, even if they have barely anything in them. I plan on getting the 7 qt ones now since these have proven to be durable.

The cases are sturdy enough for items such as Christmas decorations, clothes and alike. They will not hold anything to extremely heavy; but that is to be expected. The handle is a terrific help and latches are sturdy. The boxes are tapered. They are one foot high. At the top the measurements are 22 inches by 15 inches. At the bottom the measurements are 18 inches by 11 inches. The boxes are terrific. So good that I made 4 purchases. However, two of the orders came in damaged. The edges on the lids are always cracked. I think some type of protective material is needed at the bottom of the shipping box to protect the lids. This is a suggestion for the seller. This having been said, the problem is defiinitly is with the carrier. From the condition of the exterior of the box it is readily apparent that the boxes were mishandled. The mishandled area is located right where the lids are placed on the inside. I must add that the seller is terrific and most understanding as to what is happening. The biggest problem is with the carrier and the carrier should assume all the responsiblity. This turns out to be a problem for everyone. You have to keep waiting for a replacement and that may come in damaged anyway and it just an added expense for the seller. So everyone on both ends gets nothing but a pain in the neck. So in the end it is a gamble. Will or will-not the lids be cracked.

I needed a place to put onions and potatoes that was dark, but convenient to get to in the kitchen. I know if I put them in some out of the way place like inside a cabinet, or my laundry room, that they would go forgotten, until the fruit flies invaded. So I wanted something on my counter top/table. Enter these bins.I used a drill bit to put holes all the way around the bin in order to promote airflow. This led to a lot of plastic shards everywhere. If I could do it again, I'd have used a hot nail to melt the holes.The bins stack very neatly and I have 2 of them stacked under my cabinet, one for onions and garlic, one for potatoes. They've been used like this for several months now and I've had no problems.If you want to use these for actual storage, then know that they are about the size of an ammo can. They seal up pretty well and the lid clips are solid and don't come undone accidentally. If you have a bunch of seldom used kitchen implements like a potato masher you only use a few times a year, an immersion blender that needs a home outside your drawer, etc, you could store them in these things and keep it under the cabinet with your cookware.

These boxes are so handy for storing items like medicines, supplements, etc. They are very sturdy and although you have to attach the handles yourself once you get the boxes, it's easy to do. I like that I can see what's inside them before I open them.

Bottom bin came broken, the box was not damaged so a bit surprising. Otherwise the bins are as expected. Will try to get it replaced or otherwise will be returned.

These are great little storage boxes. I ordered the 17 Quart bins. These aren't quite wide enough or tall enough to hold 8.5x11 pieces of paper, much less file folders - but the dimensions shown on the web page should make this clear. But just in case you think you can sneak by ... you can't. The plastic is pretty thin and stiff, so I'm not sure how well they'd hold up to regular use, but if you're stashing something away you only use a couple of times a year, they're fine.The size is perfect for the typical 3-foot long, 14-inch wide shelving unit. You can get three on a shelf with an extra couple of inches to spare.My only disappointment is that the lids are shipped stacked within each other, so the top one is cracked (see photo) - whether this was done during shipping or while they were being packed, I don't know, but it makes one of the bins almost unusable if you want to secure a lid on it. Since it's shipped by Amazon, your only recourse is to ship all six back for a replacement, which doesn't make much sense if all you want is a replacement lid.I'll probably order another set, and hope I don't get any more cracked lids.
