I mainly got this because I was hypnotized with the cacophony of colors. This uses the venerable six-barrel rotating drum system. It's relatively quick to load, but extra bits in the front will have you rotating the drum a couple times to fully load it. This feels surprisingly sturdy and heavy compared to what I was expecting. Smooth solid slide action, and minimal creeks and rattles.This fires the beefy magnum sized "MEGA" darts which seem 2-3x larger than their little cousins. I wouldn't say it's any more effective than the regular darts, but it sure is heaps more fun to shoot your friends with.By design most of the weight is at the front business end. It's not "heavy" but you might start to feel it in you wrist and forearm after a while.Great fun! An excellent way to irresponsibly spend your money.

This has held up to the test of twin toddlers and is easy to use! Nerf bullets included.

it doesn't perform as well as other standard sized dart blasters but it's an amazing product especially if you want to get into the mega series.it's fun to shoot big darts towards people. and since they are accustrike darts they hit far better than any standard dart (be it elite sized or mega sized darts)

This nerf gun is a lot of fun! Note that it does use the larger “mega” darts. This was actually the 2nd one we got after my son got the pink and green one as a gift. Both color-ways are very bright and fun.My 9yo son and his friends prefer these guns with the larger darts to the standard and this is a favorite when kids are over to play.

Doesnt jam and great distance and easy for a 4 year old to use

the blaster is really strong and it's super smooth to prime.

Works well but takes a fair bit of force to crank it. 8 year old had trouble.

All the darts came damaged and don’t even fit in the gun what the hell nerf/hasbro/amazon???
