Battery Saver Premium 48 Volt 50W Pulse Charger, Maintainer & Tester (Gen. 3), Yellow, Black (2365L-48-G3)

I bought this for my golf cart as I'm a snowbird. I put it on a smart plug so I can schedule it to turn on once a week to trickle charge for 24 hours per week. It works extremely well! I have one for my car as well. This is just a quality product.

Would definitely recommend this product! It worked great, then it accidentally got wet and fried the board. Contacted the company, was able to send it in and get the board replaced very quickly and efficiently.

I had the first generation version of this for 8 years before I started having issues. I sent that one to the manufacturer to look at for me (they are absolutely terrific to work with BTW) they replaced it because it was not repairable. That is another story, needless to say though I was impressed with their communication and customer service. So, I love this company and their products. After a couple of years using the replacement, I decided I wanted to purchase the third generation of this because of the extra features and knowing how well our other unit served our needs.As far as functionality, these really do make a difference in battery life and range per charge. I do use the factory charger as my first step in charging and then plug this unit in to finish and do it's magic to the batteries. I think letting the big charger take the brunt of the charging duties and letting this take over and do it's thing works best for our needs. Early on I tried to use the old one as the only charger, but that seemed to be a lot to ask of it, so I assume it will be the same for this one.

Plugged in and connected per instructions. Output is about 1 amp. 48V, eight 6V battery array showed 100% charge when unplugged. Plug in. Blue light on for days. Battery charging shows 60%, with a reading of 58V. Will not get to 100% which is 58.8V. At 58.8 it goes into maintenance mode. All battery's individually tested good. Called and got quick response. Suggested I put on timer when I leave and have charger come on for a few hours each day.

I have a Ryobi RM300e electric lawn tractor and it has 4 / 12 V = 48v automotive batteries that power the mower. I charge these batteries with this charger. The charger work like it should but it's a lot slower than the charger that came with the Ryobi mower. I bought this charger because it's a Pulse Charger and that helps keep sulfation or corrosion on the battery plates from developing. The charger does not show when the charger goes into Pulse mode. That's the only draw back for me. I would like to know when that occurs. Other than that the charger dose the job well but very slowly. That not a problem if you only use it once every few days.

I use this for my 2000 Club Car DS and it is so much better than the factory charger. Keeps the batteries charged without ever overcharging.

Left it on my golf cart with AGM batteries for a month, when I returned all was charged and ready to go. Built in display is a plus.

Works great. It’s a little slow but I think that’ll be better for longevity and perfect for what we use out like golf cart for.
