Anti Slip Clear Tape, Bathtub and Shower Treads, Safety Walk Self Adhesive Non-Slip Tape (2.5CM Width x 5M Long, Clear)

This turned out to be absolutely fantastic. We've used it in the bedroom , you can't see it on the wooden floor as it is transparent , it is perfect for my elderly mother when she gets out of bed to use commode. It really stops her her feet slipping and helps her get her balance.

I recently purchased the Anti Slip Clear Tape for my bathtub and shower and other uses, and I am extremely happy with the results. I have tried using it to add some additional grip to 3D printed parts, but it doesn't hold up that well to plastic. Having installed a similar product as a full covering friends a shower I had a good idea of what to expect using a tape version in my own shower. It provides sufficient grip to give a high degree of confidence in a situation where shower gel and hair washing shampoos and conditioners can easily reduce the level of underfoot friction. The clear finish does not detract from the overall clean look of a bright white finished surface but does need to be a flat surface to ensure the adhesive backing maintains a firm and secure grip.

A new bath proved too slick to stand in whilst showering. Non-slip mats slipped. Even suction caps would slide, the surface was so glassy smooth. Thankfully, I tried applying this tape, which gives the mats and suckers something firm to cling to. It's true that the tape eventually becomes discoloured and will need replacing at some stage, but it provides a solution to what was looking to be an insuperable problem.

Maybe it's because I'm sticking it to plastic but the adhesive is not great. Unless the surface is absolutely flat it starts to lift up pretty fast. The overall texture of the tape itself is nice though. Fairly rubbery which helps grip.

These stickers are an excellent value and offer a truly clear, seamless finish once applied. To get the best results, I found that the surface must be meticulously cleaned beforehand. You’ll definitely want a pair of very sharp scissors for precise trimming, and I highly recommend using a plastic scraper or squeegee (like those supplied with similar kits) to firmly secure the tape and remove any trapped air. While they require a bit of patience and the right tools for a professional look, they are ultimately very easy to use, the adhesion is strong, and the transparent color blends in perfectly.

It is almost invisible at the bottom of the bath, yet it really works. As an elderly lady, I was not looking forward to having to climb out of a bath after having had a shower whilst I was waiting for my new bathroom to be installed. For a few pounds, I was able to make it safe for me to climb in and out of the bath. Very highly recommended.
