Purchased the Hero buns - was very pleased to find they tasted really good and had a nice texture, holding together well for the entire time I was eating my burger. Nice to find a keto-friendly product that tastes good and satisfactorily replaces an otherwise "no-no"

Since I am on a low carb diet I thought I would give these buns a try. Well, I’m here to tell you they actually taste better than regular buns. They are light and airy, whereas regular buns re doughy. The texture of these buns are perfect, and the best part of the bun is, there are very few carbs, and have a lot of fiber so I can eat them. The best way I like these buns are with a grilled chicken breast, a little butter, and pickles. I have also tried a hamburger on them and that is delicious too. So, if you are looking for a bun with virtually no carbs and that tastes really good, you need to try these. You won’t be disappointed.

I LOVE these Keto buns! They are the best variety I have found. The flavor is good. The texture is good. I will always have them in my freezer. When I receive these, I freeze them. I wrap them individually in plastic wrap and double bag them. I know I am not going to get these eaten within 6 months....I want them to stay fresh as long as possible because they are so expensive.

Anyone who's even been on keto knows the pain of not being able to have a real cheeseburger. Wrapping it up in lettuce just doesn't have the same effect as a bun, so anytime some company touts having "the best keto bread ever" - I usually give them a chance.I've probably tried upwards of 15 different keto bread products over the past four years, and they always have the same problems. Either they have a styrofoam-like texture or they taste like garbage, no matter what I do to mask the flavor. I can't tell you how many times I've bought keto bread, tried one slice, and promptly threw the rest in the trash. I've spent well over $100 on keto breads that were too terrible to eat.So, when I gave Hero Bread a shot, I did so with very low expectations. They had great reviews, but so did all the other companies that I tried. The day that the Hero Bread (their bun product) arrived, I put it through my usual test of using it for a cheeseburger.One bite and I knew...they pulled it off. Hero Bread actually feels and tastes like bread. Okay, it's not EXACTLY like bread, but it's so close that it works for what I need it for. And the experience is much better when it's toasted.The only small drawback is that it's a bit pricey; however, for a person who is serious about keto and is counting every carb - it's well worth it.Hero Bread finally cracked the code. I cannot recommend it enough.

These would be absolutely perfect except they cause gas. I am not prone to being bloated or gassy as I do not have a sensitive stomach. However, the first time I ate one, within 4-5 hours I noticed gassiness. I thought it was just a fluke but the next time I ate one, gassy again. It also concerned me that some of the other reviews stated it caused an increase in blood sugar spiking......I do not take those kind of measurements, but it did give me pause that it could impact a low carb diet even though the label clearly indicates it is 0 carb. Taste wise, I think they are good. I will continue to finish eating them, but doubt I will buy more......definitely worth a try for others who may not have a gassy reaction.

Both my husband and I have health issues that require us to eat low-carb so we'd kind of given up on hamburgers until we found these buns. They are as good as (if not better) than the traditional hamburger buns. In fact, they are so good, we use them as "sub rolls" for all kinds of sandwiches including breakfast sandwiches and meatball "subs." My husband has started carrying a pack around with him so if he gets hungry, he can stop at any fast food joint, order a hamburger, replace the bun with one of these Hero buns, and have a meal. It's really made a huge difference for him because he can get the shakes if he doesn't eat something and when we're out-and-about, a lot of times the only choice for food is fast food (we live in a very rural area). So these buns have literally been life savers for us.I like them so much that I actually prefer the hamburgers we grill and fix at home to the ones at fast food joints. The buns are soft and yet sturdy enough not to crumble/break up under the weight of the hamburger, homemade pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, and onion that we pile onto our sandwiches. So frankly, they're perfect for us.

Very good taste and texture for a very low carb bread.

My wife and I have been doing low-carb for the last 16 months, and these buns have made it much easier to survive! The buns have great texture and taste, and make those burgers and crabcakes a pleasure to eat. We have ordered 3 or 4 times in the last 16 months, with the hotdog buns. We use the hotdog buns for meatballs and sausage links for sandwiches. With all of praise I have for them, the price is definitely too high. In the last few months, other options have become available locally, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to continue ordering these.
