As a seasoned flat pack builder I confess the prospect of putting this together did worry me a little - given all the glass involved! After unpacking everything I was ready - the instructions are clear so within 30 minutes I was ready for help to get the unit stood upright so I could hand the doors and 30 minutes after that the build was complete! So, 1 hours from start to finish but it does need two people when putting the front glass doors on to ensure everything is aligned and of course for safety given its glass you are dealing with. Finished product is fantastic - very very pleased with the end result - its sturdy and I have filled every square inch of the shelf space with my nic nacs, all displayed as I wanted. I cannot fault it at all - price point is good and the end result is a display unit that looks alot more expensive than it actually was. Recommended without hesitation.

I bought this to display my husband's sport trophies. I'm very happy with the end result! It was a bit of a chore getting there though. I've done my share of flatpack furniture assembly, and am reasonably good at it. This one was a real challenge, for two basic reasons. First, it's a big bulky piece with large panes of glass that are difficult to maneuver during assembly. Second, mine had several problems and omissions that increased the difficulty of assembly.The pictures show a lock at the top of the doors but mine had none. This didn't matter to me but it might to some.The instructions say 2 people (yes!), no drilling (no! see below), and 1 hour (we took 2.)Unpacking and assembling this is definitely a two-person job - one person can do most of the actual assembly work, but you definitely need a helper throughout to help maneuver the pieces, hold things in place etc. The instructions say that no drilling is required - however there were no pre-drilled holes to attach the lamp or the feet, and mine was also missing holes for the third screw in the hinges. I also needed to drill some of the holes for the shelf supports a bit bigger - although if I hadn't had the drill out already I probably could have managed as they were. Finally, and perhaps the most frustrating problem, I was unable to get the provided door handles to work. The problem was that the screws wouldn't go far enough into the handles using a standard manual screwdriver - I'm no weakling and my husband had a go also with no luck. I ended up purchasing a couple of kitchen cupboard knobs to use instead. (If you want to do this, be aware that you will need to use shorter screws than the ones they come with, since the glass is thinner than a kitchen cupboard door would be. I found suitable ones in my store of spare screws, and also I used the plastic washers that came with the provided handles.) The whole operation took about 2 hours (not counting trip to hardware store for the knobs.)The instructions were ok although the English was not very well translated. The "exploded" pictures were pretty easy to follow.If you purchase this, I'd advise you to be prepared for a bit more than the average flatpack assembly - or get someone handy to do it for you! :) But again, the final result looks very good, I'm happy with it and think it's good value for money.

Not someone who writes ratings but had to say how very satisfied we are with this product. Ordered the extra glass shelves, the unit was to store my collection of Swarovski which it does beautifully. It does have a contemporary look so may not be suitable for more traditional surroundings. You do need 2 people to assemble it but did not take too long and instructions were good. When assembled it feels substantial and looks the business. In fact, so happy with it we have ordered 2 more to show off our Portmerion China!

Fantastic display cabinet, it is very heavy and you need 2 people to put it together but looks fab in my reception, it is good quality and has had lots of comments! The delivery was super fast and it arrived before the estimated date! Thank you

Heavy packaging being all glass, Instructions not in English but good pictures so went together easilynow look fantastic showing off our collections. highly recommended.delivery guys really lovely as well.

I have had this cabinet for 6 months now, and it is generally excellent. I wanted to write this review to highlight one problem, and what I did to resolve it.I found the shelves to be about 1cm too short to fit properly on the pegs designed to hold them. The top two fit well enough for me to put things on them, but I did not want to trust my valuables to the wobbly bottom two shelves. Being glass, they are fairly heavy and are not best when unsupported.To fix it, I bought some clear plastic corner protectors for tables, and put two on the front corners of each shelf. The extra couple of cm cushion is enough to fit all the shelves in snug now. They don't wobble and gravity is on my side!
