Good bull or accessory rope
Do not climb on this rope if you value your life. Stick with a reputable arborist rope such as Yale, Samson, Sterling, or T-Berger. However, for the price it is a great rope for pulling brush, light rigging, or heavy accessory cord. I keep 50’ on my quad to pull brush, drag limbs, and emergency recovery. It knots easily and the mantel has held up well so far.

Strong rope but has one disadvantage
I live on a densely forested 58 acre parcel of land in Oregon. Over the years I have cut down scores of Douglas fir, Oregon White Oak, and many other tree varieties. When it was necessary to rope the trees I have always used nylon rope and it always worked fine. Just for fun I decided to order 100 feet of blue polyester rope just to see how it performed. I received it today so I got my tractor out and started skidding logs with the new rope. Polyester rope is supposed to be a bit stronger than nylon and not as stretchy as nylon. My experience today tells me that the 1/2 inch rope is plenty strong and it definetly does not stretch. The one drawback I see to this rope compared to nylon rope is that it is much harder to tie a knot in the rope that will stay cinched up. I connected some hooks on the ends of this rope using tried and true knots and the knots kept comming loose. I will solve the problem by making eye splices in the ends of the rope rather than tying knots. So, the moral of this story is; if you want a rope that you can tie a knot in that will stay put, stick with nylon rope.

Fantastic rope
I bought the rope so my neighbor and I could cut down a tree. We used the rope to tie off larger branches to control how we slowly lowered them to the ground. The rope easily held the weight and had plenty of length so we were out of harms way.

Best rope I,ve bought. No stretch!!!
Using this rope for tree work. Really good. Knots come un-tied with minimal effort also. Love it!!!
