Uni-Com Security Timer

Just used this recently. Select winter or summer setting, plug device in then plug in the lamp. Switch on. After dark/dusk light comes on for about 4 hours (winter setting) then goes off and switches back on at random, through the night. Stops working when there is enough light for it to seem like the day's dawned. So if you pick a lamp that's too bright or shines on the sensor the device will not work correctly. Otherwise very easy to set up if you just want a light that comes on with no set pattern (The 'Wet Bandits', in the Xmas film Home Alone, deduced which houses were unoccupied, by recording the times the lights came on!). So, unless you want to rely on a child to defend your home, get one of these!

Works perfectly well, quality product.

Plugs in to a wall socket. Easy to use - just select from programme - and will switch a lamp on and off at random times during the night. Daylight sensitive so stays off during daylight hours. Can't comment on durability as we have only used for one week when we were away.

This works OK but remember it will carry on working all through the night even though, when people go to bed normally the lights are switched off until the next day/evening so it can add to your electricity bill. Also if the day is overcast and your room may be a little darker some times it can come on during the day.

No hours on spending to set it up just turn on appliance in question and follow easy instructions took me less than five minutes to install it.

No more having to set a timer,just switch to summer or winter plug in and plug your light in job done. The difference sequences of lighting is a good thing, no one can assess what is going on in your property. Would definitely recommend.
