I purchased this lamp to keep by the pool on our small 12x15 deck. I needed lighting for the kids to play at night and also create a pretty and comfortable area to relax in for me.it’s absolutely perfect..It's bright enough for my needs and creates great deck ambiance. Simple lightweight construction, with an On/Off switch. Contemporary and classic looking. The lighting lasts about 3-5 hours depending on the amount of sun its received for the day. I normally take the solar panels off to sit them in direct sunlight for the day for optimum performance.it’s doing well outside for the past couple of months holding up to the elements. i’m sure I will get a few years of use out of it.I would definitely recommend for the money!!

Really liked these but in less than a year they dont work.Sad cause I really liked the look and simplicity of them but need to replace with something else.

So sad, what a waste of money. I wanted to love this product and for 3 weeks I did. I bought three of them for the backyard and they "look" amazing...functionality is a different story. I should not have to be taking things apart to change batteries after one month. To be fair, I have not taken this apart, but should I have to?!Update: no batteries to replace all solar. Spoke with Amazon customer service. They want me to reach out to manufacturer. Be wary of return policy!! Amazon doesnt care about the customer. If they did, they would reach out to manufacturer on your behalf OR offer a replacement. At the very least NOT represent a manufacturer that is subpar. It now fails on my shoulders to chase this down. So much for the customer being right policy.UPDATE 07/20/22: These are JUNK! They look nice but thats where it stops. All four I purchased are completely out. They will not charge and will not light. They are from China so buyer beware. When I put in a complaint on the first tow not working the seller NEVER responded. Give them 4-6 months and you will be throwing away your money!

Needed something to light the backyard without it being too obtrusive while we wait to landscape. These light the backyard perfectly. One charge lasts about 10 hours. Easy to start solar charging, just look carefully at the top for the on/switch, it’s tiny

The light is very stlylish. It could be a little brighter but looks good.

Works well—bright at night and sucks up the sunshine during the day on my patio. We like the fact that it is lightweight and seems made to hold up if brought in during storms. Easy peasy. The switch is tiny and is on the top plate in the corner. Had a minute to locate it but luckily another review mentioned it. Decent size but not the star of the show. Worth the money.

They are very nice looking and hold the charge. They do tip over if its windy.

These are very nice lanterns. We lived them at first. Then one stopped working. Several reviews seem to mention the same problem. For the price I would expect they’d last much longer.

Really nice and bright but blow over with the slightest wind so won’t last long, shame for the price

When the light worked, I really loved it. It creates a bright light which illuminated the patio area really well. I liked the on off switch so that I could switch the light off when not in use. It looked very elegant. However, it only worked for a month. The solar unit is a sealed unit so there is no way to see if it can be fixed. Very disappointing.
