Love this checkered print bag! Color is just as bright as the pictures. Perfect for the farmers market or beach/vacation since it lays flat in your suitcase. There are no pockets or anything on the inside, but is a great catch-all bag for summertime!

If you have read the description, you know all you need to know. This tote bag is really big, and has no closure and no structure. No pockets, no zippered compartments. It is a roomy bag for collecting up all the small purchases you make throughout a day of shopping. Throw all those little bags....with reciepts stapled to them, in here, but keep it on your shoulder, because when you set it down it will be on its side, with a very long mouth for things to potentially fall out of. (I don't want to even think it, but such an open top seems like it might be a great temptation to the criminal element...no, I did not say that.). It would be good for carrying a change of clothes, with shoes and makeup bag, a bento bag, whatever you need, as long as you have a good place to set it down. There is no flat bottom to this bag, so it will wind up on its side, and while that may not be a problem with a typical tote bag, this one is very wide, so you need to keep that in mind, when deciding if you want to order this. It is a super soft tote that you could fit a good sized bunch of puppies in, as long as they were all asleep. You could definitely use this for your yarn and supplies, if you like to knit, and when not in use, hanging its handles over a hanger, to easily store in a closet. In my humble opinion, the convenience of this bag would be greatly enhanced by the addition of a top zipper, as well as a couple of interior compartments and a snap or velcro loop for keyrings or whatever you need to have close at hand. Or what might make this even better, is to include all those things, in a slightly smaller bag . Like I said, the seller's description tells you everything you need to know, but even with reading the measurements of this bag, once I got it and slipped it over my shoulder, feeling how comfortable and light it is, when I then saw how, when empty, I could fold it against nearly half of my front and back...it's big alright. It just feels so nice and soft, and is so cute, I want to find a way to make it work for me either taking up knitting or just carrying around several submarine sandwiches, maybe with a six pack or three.It is big, and that's a good thing, I guess, if you are ready for it.Update: After I wrote this review, my big sister, and yes, she is 7 inches taller than me, saw this tote, as I was still considering it. She fell in love with it and claimed it as her own, planning to fill it with magazines, when she was going to be spending time in medical and dental waiting rooms. I agreed with her that yes, it does feel beautiful. Her reaction to it has convinced me to come back and upgrade my stars from 3 to 4. Guess it's back to the kid's department for me!

I like the size and pattern of this bag. The length of the shoulder strap works well as a shoulder bag. To me, it looks more like a plarn or pleather weave than a cotton crochet style bag. I like the style and design--but, the appearance seems a little cheap and "plastic" like.
