I use this in my woodshop.
I use this as my main router. With a 9ah battery, some common sense and sharp bits, this router does everything I need in my wood shop. Adjustments are easy and smooth. Easy to control and handle. Highly recommended!!

It would not stay on. I tried swapping batteries and it worked
It is a good product, but kept shutting off. Swapping the battery on and off seems to have cured it.

Perfect for a novice like me!
After 45 years "working for the man", I recently retired and have been using my free time to learn more about woodworking. This Christmas, I am working on this gift for a brother to hold his drinks and cell phones out by the corn hole boards and horse shoe pits, and it seemed I needed a router. So I picked up this Craftsman because the price was right for a novice old guy like me. And I inherited a lot of Craftsman tools from Dad that seem to really hold up well. Still learning to use it (and understand now the advantage of a PLUNGE router - which this is NOT) but pretty quickly figured out how to use it with some templates, flush trim router bits, and a roundover bit to make the lid. Still got lots to learn, but so far, so good! Remember to wear safety glasses!

Well worth the price
I mainly wanted it to trim laminates not hardcore wood routing. Packs a punch has a light with a dust port to attach to a vacuum system. Depth adjustment is unique to itself so after a few tries its easy to use. It turns off immediately vs a corded router. Bonus - Thin barrel vs fat Dewalt works amazing with my tiny hands. It's well worth the price.
