So easy to use
My old thermometer died. I saw this one and it looked much easier to use than my old one so I bought. It is a joy to use. I like that the readout is big enough that I don't need readers to see it. It is so simple to use. Just open it and it's ready to use. No more mashing the tiny little button to get it going and realizing that it was the wrong button and starting over. I think you will like this as much as I do. Give it a try.

It’s a great value to me
Stickiness:Magnet holds it to the fridge solidluAccuracy:it shows boiling water to be 210 degrees. That’s close enough for government work. It’s great for keeping me from overcooking meats and keeping oil at the right temperature for frying. Readability:The display is large and I can read it without my glassesBuild quality:its solidly constructed. After two years of almost daily use it looks and works like newits easy to use and clean. I just wish it had a display on both sides and is difficult to use left handed. Just one of many nuisances left handers have to endure.

An all in one unit.
Sofar it checks our bbq meats for proper finish temps and also the ice cream machine output temps on 3 machines. Like it is all in one. Good price too.

Do NOT submerge in water!!
I wish it was waterproof!!! I submerged in water first time and had to buy new one!! I also bought for my son in law and son!
