Good motor
Works great. Does drain batteries fast when using leaf blower attachment.

This is awesome!
Like many people I bought the Ryobi products for lawn and garden, I started with the 2 cycle gas motor head and then bought the 40 volts one but those batteries are too expensive and only lasted a little over a year, but then I found this 18 volt motor head and then it clicked if I could use my other brand batteries for cordless power tools in my case Bosch with this one I was golden. Got myself a Bosch-to-Ryobi adapter and that’s it, 1 battery for all my tools. The only attachment that didn’t work was the brushcutter. The seller was great and delivered promptly.

Lack of power
This tool didn’t have enough power. It took two fully charged batteries to weed eat a yard less then a quarter acre. Fortunately I had 3 batteries to use. It doesn’t hold up when using an edger either. It zaps the battery quick. Hard to to yard work with something this weak. The next size up would be more appropriate.

works great with Ryobi attachments
4 cycle Ryobi engine died so thought take a chance with electric motor. Already have Ryobi drill, saw, and battery so felt comfortable giving it a try. This electric motor works great and the 4AH battery lasts way longer than I need. The attachments fit perfectly and the electric has improved the attachment point so more secure.

Very happy
This replaced my gas unit. I love it. No more pulling in the hot weather. Glad I bought it. All my attached fit and work great.
