Very strong magnet
Used this as a magnetic lock for a hidden drawer. With the strength of this magnet, you can't pull it open if you knew it was there.

Not as durable as expected
First one I received had the back blown out of it so the magnet wouldn’t turn on. Seller sent a new one out quickly. Second one functioned fine, but after a month or so the threads on top of the aluminum case stripped and I had to install a helicoil. Magnet is about as strong as expected.

Not as strong as described but it does turn completely off.
I had to return the smaller one I bought before this one. The way they measure the strength of these is place it on an absolutely ideal conditions. Flat metal surface, No paint even, and lift it in a perfectly uniform way. So it comes strait up. Then double that force number cuz otherwise it's embarrassing.Not sure if I'm right? Well I also bought 1"X1X1 neodiuem magnets as well, and each one of those is by far stronger. But they don't turn off, ever.
