Born of the night is the kind of album which would be great to listen to if you lived in a dark spooky mansion or castle on saying that I live in a council house and it still conjures the dark eerieness. The tracks are slow and relaxing but still keep the dark horror feel especially haunted nursery in which other the slow ambience a chilling sound of babies crying wail as from the grave this is a top album especially if your like me who is into dark and horror sounding music also a great cd for halloween along with the other midnight syndicate albums this rates high in ambience, mellow, horrorcore and pure darkness.

Love It, perfect for Halloween mood music. Excellent compositions, very well performed. Not the usual hum drum Halloween Sounds type music.

Great spooky music

I loved this CD it is wonderfully eerie, definitely not something you want to listen to when alone by yourself at night, but if you're like me, and you enjoy writing romantic, adventurous or even off color horror or mysteries, this music is for you and will stimulate your imagination to it's fullest. For anyone else, it is really great mood setting music perfect for halloween.

Perfect for Halloween

Fooled by a couple of their other albums (Christmas, Halloween), I read glowing review of this early recording but...come on, is this for angry Goth kids in the basement? Pretty much, yeah, with "evil" voices interrupting half the tracks to tell you to scary things because you have no imagination. Yawn. Anyway, just know what you're getting.
