Update: bought 4 additional keys for another car.All 4 keys programmed without incident. And replacement key from first order programmed without problem, 9 keys no issues! Additionally these keys have precision screw that is paramount to remove key blanks for cutting which most keys do not have giving these keys ability to be cut without problem. Highly recommendFirst Three of Four keys i ordered programmed perfectly first time using 2 master keys at home. However one wouldnt accept programming after attempting program no less than 10 times. Replacement shipped immediately when requested and next day Blanks arrived, switched faulty fob and new key functions flawless as other 3. Immediatly returned faulty key to amazon. Highly recommend this product.I also ordered self programming key at a fraction of manufacturer's key and swapped internals to program the second key so all the keys c a n be digitally programmed to car.#1 You must have 2 master keys ( functioning keyfobs.#2 You have to find location to cut key.Note I had only 1 key and ordered second from jrep for insanely price of nearly $300. Prior I had paid for a non chipped key for door only for $7 from hardware store. S glad i did because i was told that one shop that cuts keys said they couldnt cut the key with a fob..... These keys unlike jeep's have a screw holding metal key blank into fob. i was able to remove the blank and provide the 7$ door only key and have all keys cut for under $20. HUGE SAVINGS AND ONE PRECISION SCREW TO REMOVE AND REINSTALL. I LOVE THESE KEYS... HIGHLY RECOMMEND, FAULTY ELECTRONICS ARE INEVITABLY GOING TO OCCUR BUT THESE WORK TERRIFIC NOW!!!

My original fobs were broken and no longer functioned. The dealer prices for new ones is outrageous so I thought I'd take a chance on these. I'm glad I did. A local locksmith programmed them for me for $70 and now I have 2 brand new fobs at a FRACTION of what one OEM fob would have cost. This is a no brainer.

Picked up a pair of these keys for our 2012 Jeep Wrangler JKU. Went to Home Depot and had them cut the keys for $6 each. Used my obd jscan tool to program them without any issues. All functions work like the original keys. Save yourself some $$$ and do this yourself.

Will not sync with 2017 Jeep Wrangler. Do not recommend. Doesn't work
