You will have to detach the hose from the bottom of the onboard container and add an extension hose to it. Local auto parts stores carry the tubing(hose). Then you can insert into any size container you want. As far as the gasoline. The engine is designed to use 10% ethanol. You can use non ethanol if you want to. Do not use anything over 10%. Especially E85. E85 will burn up the engine.
