I’ve never left a review, but with this purchase felt like I needed to just in case someone is having a hard time deciding, just like we were.With all the mixed reviews, we were extremely hesitant to try this pergola, but we really liked the look and it was the right size, 14x10, so we decided to buy it. We are very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend to others!Yes, it was a lot of work to put it together, but all the pieces were there and the instructions that came with the product were very clear and outlined everything step-by-step. Very easy to follow and all the pieces came together perfectly. Would recommend using a drill to tighten everything, as per some reviews, seems like not everyone does this. Also, anchoring all five legs and attaching the pergola to the house made it very sturdy.My husband and I completed the set up in about 7 hours or so and that was with a few breaks. No regrets on buying this pergola. A great purchase!

Took us about 8 hours to set up, mainly because of the rain! As one reviewer said, to prevent leaks make sure you’re paying attention to the weather stripping as you slide the K pieces (roof pieces) in. When you slide them in, it’s best to have one person on a ladder holding the strips in place so they aren’t pushed free and out of place. You can tell this is happening as the weather stripping will be hanging out and off the back (someone else had a great picture of the strip hanging free, make sure you check all the photos to see what I’m talking about). It had no issues with rain and it rained the whole day after I set it up!My only other warning is to make sure you buy better anchors; the anchors that came with it were super cheap and we ended up just running down to Home Depot and buying cement anchors there. You’re definitely going to want to use some combo of the wall and ground anchors to give it support and stability. We ended up using the wall anchors for the back and then the front post anchors, which was more than enough.

This a fantastic product. It fit perfectly for our application and I put a majority of it together by myself and had my husband help with securing it to the house. Survived a light snow/ice, a tornado, and heavy rain. Leaked a bit along the mid support but that is because I installed the support upside down 😆. Would recommend and buy again.

So it’s a great buy and for the price you can’t beat it. The installation is long and time consuming with tons of screws and parts. It is somewhat flimsy and does leak. I ended up having to reinforce it with timber after a week because the wind was ready to turn it into a kite.

Ok here’s the deal legs strong, cross beams not so much, lots and lots of pieces, directions were good, works great for sun protection and shade, very flimsy when we put it together, felt like it would collapse until we attached it to the wall, says it would hold up to 7” of snow really not convinced, we shall see, if it doesn’t it will be a pile of steel parts, was missing all the water proof washers but I had some from a previous project so should be good, we had 15-20 mph winds held up ok, anchored to the deck floor and connected to the house seems much more sturdy but never would hold up without connecting to the house, can’t use as a stand alone it would be super wobbly

Once both boxes arrived it was quick and easy. My husband has a construction background, so it was super easy for him to install. What a difference it makes, giving us the opportunity to enjoy out outdoor (Florida) space under a shaded area. I liked how the tinted panels are included in the package. The product is well made and visually appealing. Glad we ordered it!

It arrived in 3 boxes. We got the 20x8 unit & it took about 12 hours to put together with one handy person & a helper. We received all parts. The roof panels are a little more flimsy than expected. To be honest, I'm a little worried about hail, snow load & ice...but maybe I'll update this review after those weather events happen.Overall, it's a nice addition & it's already helping to create a relaxing oasis that we enjoy using. I would definitely recommend this lean to gazebo to anyone wanting to escape the sun & rain while still allowing enough sun to come through & keep your plants alive.

Now that the pergola is finally installed, it looks nice. However, this thing was not an easy installation by any means. It took 2 people for mosf of the install and at times a 3rd person because the frame WOULD NOT SQUARE!!! This is particularly important when installing the plexi-glass like panels. When frame is off, the panels do not line up and there were major gaps...so that means leaks! Finally, got squared and had to also attach wooden blocks to attach to anchor to house. You definifely need to have some building IQ and not rely 100% on poor instructions.
